about 50-30k less seats but the majority of them are centered and wrapped around a diamond. I just think as a fan in attendance the views would be much better.

(Ironically, the stadium that Mania is in now was used [poorly] as a baseball stadium up until this year.)

Yeah, the football stadiums, I mean look at the back row seats, the titantron is pinprick in the distance, let alone the ring. Sure you'd get the "energy" or whatever, but you won't see shit, you might as well watch it on TV. The stadiums are designed for matches that cover the field, not a 20X20 square.

The outdoor stadium problem, though, a lot of it I think lies with the huge awkward frame they have to have over the ring because of the lack of a roof.

Still, the lure of a gigantic crowd (this WM is going to have 50-60,000 fans or so?) is hard to pass up, there's a lot of energy there.
