It's still too soon for Crysis 3, I think. I expect that to be a launch title for the next wave of consoles.

Here's hoping it's Halo. The graphics are the one aspect of that series that never really even struck me as good...an attractive Halo would be awesome. I hope they tone it down for the MP, though, if only to maintain that rock-solid frame rate.

I really dont want it to be Halo 4. Sure Halo fans will be happy if its so, but I need something that is trully mindblowingly awesome. We are closing near to the nextgen console reveals, and we need some ammunition for message board wars. SDF must be formed once again! GIFs must start leaching our bandwith! Megatons exploding everywhere! BRING IT!

Well, to be completely honest, two of their most hyped recent reveals (South Park by Obsidian and XCOM by Fireaxis) pleased me big time.

Both were great.

C2 really had awesome moments, and more accessible suit powers produced great firefights.

C1 on the other hand was more open, which provided more ways to have fun.

For what it's worth, GI's May 2006 issue was the reveal of Red Steel.

Maybe they're going to do something similar for the Wii-U. But, hopefully, it won't be by Ubisoft.

For me... best case scenario is Crysis 3.


Announced only for PC [and therefore can be revealed ahead of nextgen console marketing schedule], but clearly targeted for nextgen. Min sys req 8 threaded CPU and 16gb of ram, release late 2013 or early 2014.

Hell to the yes. The only thing they really dropped the ball on (and hard) was the AI. I even liked the filters. Game looked amazing on my modest PC which maxed it out with ease. Crysis 2 was, no kidding, the most technically impressive title I have ever played in terms of optimization.

If they fix the AI, Crysis 3 could easily become my favorite shooter of all time.

Edit: and FYI, I played through with a 360 controller on my PC. A first. The last time a game felt that right with a particular controller was Mario 64.
