the most disturbing stuff I've seen lately was Korra x Yue. I mean, what?
Some of both actually. When episode 1 and two aired there was a lot of speculation and talk about twhat happened in the episodes but also about the love angle since it's obviously going to play a part. I lean towards there being more discussion about the story since the romantic stuff in Avatar always seemed to be pretty straight forward, regardless of what all the crazy people might think.

Once the episodes air it will be about what happened in them then maybe some romance stuff when nothing else is there to talk about (unless the ep as a lot of romance stuff in it somehow).
And with that i just think right now its getting the focus since there is nothing else left to talk about and we are waiting.
Or unless you want to talk about stuff in TLA that has been discussed to death already or elements we got info on which was also discussed already (probending rules, the contents of the released episodes, theories about Amon, etc)

For sure. There's not much to talk about for now beyond what's already been discussed. When more episodes start coming out there will be plenty to talk about.

No Hugging, No kissing. i don't care about who ends up with who but i do care about the existence of ship teasing and romance in the show. It's hard enough getting sophisticated storylines on war, genocide, nonviolence, mentorship etc in a children's cartoon on a mainstream tv network but a realistic romance is a whole 'nother level of challenges. I'm worried that they'll be forced to fuck it up.
(This is also my first time following Avatar as the show is aired and I'm not used to the ship teases and shipping wars. I'm going to back out slowly now)

I kind of hope Bumi is Amon. And then Tenzin will join the fray, and Amon will go specifically for a nonlethal takedown instead of his usual fatal blow. And then Tenzin will wake up later and be all "hmmm...." and figure it out.

Series finale ends with Korra going into the Avatar State to bring out Aang, who has a stern conversation with Bumi and grounds him for a week.

I don't actually think it'll be him. I can't imagine the son of Aang and Katara being voiced by Steve Blum. Then again, I would never have imagined their son being voiced by JK Simmons either...

That statue of Aang is not a normal statue. I remember some strange music playing as Korra looked at it. Call me crazy but I think Aang left some way for Korra to contact him using that thing, or it does something in case of an emergency. Maybe it will come alive and crush Amon?
