Family of Florida boy killed by Neighborhood Watch seeks arrest

One thing about the whole Zimmerman injury to me- If he was inured as he claimed to have been, then why are there no reports of him going to a hospital after the shooting?

His father said he went the next day, but by then it was too late to treat the wounds.

Seriously, am I missing something, or did the first officer on the scene not even check to see if Trayvon was alive or dead? He says he saw him, but only the second cop on the scene said he tried to revive him, unless I'm mistaken.

For sure. The sad fact is that most judges, magistrate or no, tend to be more favorable to law enforcement and prosecutors, if for no other reason than they might see the same prosecutor several times a week on different cases, but only see a particular defendant or his lawyer on that particular case.

For this guy specifically, though, simply being a Virginia magistrate probably didn't give him a lot of personal connections with police in Florida.

I agree, unless he had established personal relationships with individuals there, in which case he might receive some deference. But otherwise, a former state court magistrate judge from another state is unlikely to have much if any influence. Does he live in the county in which Sanford is located now?

I still can't get over the idiocy of repeating statements made by his son, to the media no less.

Something people are not getting

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nat...d-wound-trayvon-scuffle-abc-article-1.1054625

I got this from the comment section, it keep disappearing its not a freaking wound.

Edit:You can even see it in those gifs that it keep reappearing an disappearing.

That is exactly (EXACTLY) what I said a few posts ago:

In the 2nd GIF, if you freeze it at one point, a dent appears in his head. If you used that image in isolation, it could appear to be some sort of cut or bruise. But once you let it play, it's clear that it's just the result of the lighting.

Excuse me for using the word, but ABC is retarded.

If it was as bad as he claimed it was, shouldn't he have gone before the interrogation to make sure there was no permanent damage?

Well I mean we all know that Zimmerman and his family is lying but yes that would make logical sense. Since you know he was "barely" conscious. Had his head bashed into the ground multiple times and a broken nose from the blows to his face.

And all of that allegedly happened between 7:16 PM EST (when Trayvon's call with his gf ended) and 7:16PM EST (when the gunshot is heard on the 911 call). The first officer showed up at 7:17 PM EST.

I haven't been updated on this for a couple days. Can I get updated on this conveniently somehow in an unbiased way as possible?

holy crap i missed this! hahahaha you gotta be fucking kidding me. holy crap the zimmermans keep digging a bigger and bigger hole as time goes on.

Hey may have a healing factor :/

Or he might have caught a fairy in a jar.

that must have been some serious wounds.

Actually, if you don't get to gashes that need stitches on time, your options are to either reopen the wound or to just leave it be.

It should leave a scar though if you do that.

Has anyone posted anything about NBC news doctoring the 911 call when they broadcast it?

http://www.baltimoresun.com/enterta...atie-couric-nbc-news-20120402,0,7231989.story

It was edited by someone at NBC News so that when Zimmerman says "he looks black," it sounds as if he is injecting race, racial profiling and a connection between being “black” and being “up to no good,” into the tragic scenario, rather than factually answering a question.

Here's what NBC News doctored tape had Zimmerman saying:

"This guy looks like he's up to no good. He looks black."

But here's what was really said without the edit:

Zimmerman: "This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about."

911 operator: "Okay. And this guy, is he white, black, or Hispanic?"

Zimmerman: "He looks black."

You don't need me to tell you the edit feels every bit as egregious as the sort of thing the late Andrew Breitbart did in a couple of infamous instances on his websites.

For the record, NBC News says it has been investigating the situation for two days now. Please.

In every newsroom I ever worked in management would have an answer to that kind of journalistic malfeasance within an hour.

It was posted here the night that they aired the doctored audio IIRC. NBC is doing an investigation to see who altered the tape and the people/person responsible will be fired.

That was the latest I heard, but I was traveling a lot during the end of the week and throughout the weekend and might have missed the latest.

Saw this on The Last Word last night. One of the audio experts confirms that Zimmerman said "Fucking coons." The other expert hadn't attempted to break that one down yet. Like I've been saying, I don't know where some of you were getting "punks" from as those words don't sound anything alike.

Well seems like the voice recognition software has been used as evidence in other trials, so that's a plus for the family, but it is sad that the trayvon family doesn't have any kind of recording of the kid's voice to make a positive identification. Besides, the Zimmermans are going to hire their own audio experts.

Dunno how much legal standing has the guy who said he listened very carefully and confirmed that zimmerman said "coons", though.

Whoa now, THIS Should be big news. A news company doctoring the evidence? That's REALLY bad, that suggests this smear campaign is reaching powerful ears.

Your right the fact it keeps getting posted means the smear campaign against trayvon Martin is still in full effect

That's just dumb. The original tapes were aired first across all major media outlets and there's no point to an edit. It's already pretty well known his suspicion was based soley on race.

I mean, for fucks sake on April 22, 2011, Zimmerman called to report a black male about “7-9” years old, four feet tall, with a “skinny build” and short black hair. There is no indication in the police report of the reason for Zimmerman’s suspicion of the boy.

Gee, I wonder what about a 7-9 year old made Zimmerman suspicious....

Is this a joke? Otherwise I suggest you read the actual event report.

Because there was no suspicion. If you had read the actual 911 report, you'd know that he called it in because he was concerned for the boy's safety being unattended on a busy road.

I'm just imagining the producer on the phone prepping for that show.

Phone Call 1

Quite surprising that someone who's been insisting on rigid objectivity would step into the realm of conjecture. Laughable conjecture at that.

I thought you were here to fight against conspiracy theories.

Yes, and there is a big difference between an obvious joke, and a real conspiracy theory guys. Not that you'd want to pass up on the opportunity to call me out! Based on the way I presented that it was obvious I was mostly kidding.

Also, there is a big difference between making a joke about the way the media is covering this, and some of them have been quite hysterical and theatrical about it, MSNBC being the worst, and actually delving into unsubstantiated theories about the case itself.

You're a complete piece of shit.

damn. things getting personal up in here. for what its worth, i haven't seen a single news story about this case. i've stayed away on purpose cuz i knew already what kind of circus it would be. i've gotten everything from people linking info in this very thread.

Because you've shit all over this thread for almost 20 pages and I honestly hate you and wish you'd leave.

If your definition of "shitting all over his thread" means someone correcting people's false assumptions and incorrect information regarding this case, that would be your problem. Not mine.

Oh, and btw. I've got no hate for you, or anyone else in this thread.
