Indeed. Nothing against Mako since I have only known him for one episode but Zuko had oodles of depth to compete with. Plus Mako (ironically) has no Uncle Iroh to smooth out his edges either, yet.

Isn't his goofy brother serving as the Iroh?
Also, the first 6 eps of avatar had Zuko as a pretty broad and boring villain IMO.

I doubt that Bolin is goign to be anything close to Iroh, he seems more like the Sokka type, though a lot better with the ladies. And Zuko wan't a really deep villain or even character till The Storm imo.

And since I've been reading Bryan's tumbr abd there seemed to have been confusion about it a few times: Korra will air as two seasons, or Book 1 (12 episodes) and Book 2 (14 episodes). Book1 is apparently already finished, but they still seem to be working hard on Book 2. God knows when we'll se that :/

I really liked the first two episodes, teh sprinking of humor/drama was a little off but I liked it. There is already a love triangle angle to it. Korra is going to like the bad boy and the nice one is going to left in the dust.

One thing I thought was funny was how Tenzins daughter asks "what happened to Zuko's mother?" only to be interrupted. Really fan service and really awesome.
