The guy/company who made this case for me:

Was contacted by somebody involved with skullgirls to make a couple of custom cases which you can see here:

Doug Johnson at Foehammer sticks. He does great work. I've purchased 6 or 7 custom cases from him.

He says they contacted him after seeing my case. :)

I don't know how true that is, but I <3 my comic case, lol.

I will be stopping in Akihabara in early July on the way back to the states from Germany. Any stores/shops/hidden areas where I might be lucky in locating rarer sticks?

Mainly looking for the 360 HRAP EX-SA for my collection.

I know :-( It is the only one I'm missing from that cycle of Hori sticks. I've seen it come up on YAJ a few times over the last few years but always used/beat-up. Not really a special stick but I like the EX-SA branding in the lower corner...and my EX-SEs are missing a sibling.

Not even sure if sticks are big in Akihabara. Gonna try to find one or two that I don't have, though...maybe try to find a sigma for the Seimitsu stick. Gonna be going through Akihabara twice in July...a few weeks apart. Gonna go shopping!

Yes, it works on the SF4 SE at the least - not sure about the BrawlStick. The install is a bit trickier simply because you have to fanangle a spot for the Kitty to rest.

BrawlStick is essentially the SE just with a different paint job. Finished putting an LS-58 and seimitsu buttons in one last week, and my SE has a JLF and sanwa buttons in it. The innards are essentially the same.

Yeah, but there are multiple revisions of the PCB and the Kitty requires a different wiring harness for the newer ones. Not sure which revision the BrawlStick is.

This. Please double check with the relevant thread in SRK Tech Talk before buying anything. If you are unsure just post in the thred and someone will clarify for you.

What's the best stick if you are purely going to use it for shmups LS-58-01 ?

Might be my first post here but I thought I'd warn you anyway. The LS-58-01 is a horrible stick for shmups as it's very loose and not accurate. Huge dead zone, you're best off sticking to a 56-01 or 32-01 if I were you.

The LS-58-01 is a joy to play Third Strike on though.

Can anyone point me to the cheapest place to get a Sanwa octagonal gate shipped? I feel real silly paying more for shipping than for the part.

I think Lizardlick charges around $2 to ship one, but I'm not sure if they are still having issues getting out orders in a timely fashion.

EDIT: Seems they are still out of commission. You may be out of luck finding a good shipping price...

Hi guys been following this thread for a while but didn't post yet. Wanted to share this mod I did of an old agetec stick.

Sanwa buttons and stick, added two 24mm buttons to the front for select start (and Home combined), covered both the old start button and the UMD window, and added new plexi, artwork and dustcover. PS3/PC compatible.

It's the first time I try something like this, best I did before was replacing the ball top of my TE for a bat top, and to be honest I'm quite satisfied with the result.

Sorry for the crappy ipad photo, I'll try to get better pics of it.

Man that was probably a lot of work! I tried modding one of those once. Managed to get an LS-40-01 in there very crudely. I cried a lot during the process.

Thoughts on what I should use to spray paint/primer my TE? Feeling really bored and wanting to do something.

Brands, etc? Rustoleum, yadda yadda?

Wow nice mods - I remember that being a tough stick to really get into though. Congrats!

Does the Hori SCV 360 stick have no way of toggling d-pad, left analog and right analog? I know the press pre-release listed a way to toggle it but I'll be damned if I can find no mention of it anywhere on the box or on Hori's site.

Are you sure you don't have it confused with MadCatz's SCV offering? The toggle is really a MadCatz thing, I've never seen a Hori product do it.

My V3-SA has it. The V3-SA is missing the lsb/rsb option like on the SCV stick, but I'd much rather have the option to switch between analog to digital mode.

I have the ps3 one and it does. Also has l3/r3 buttons and a toggle to turn l2/r2 into l3/r3

Interesting. I've never paid close attention to Hori's PS3 offerings and there's certainly no equivalent option on my HRAP EX-SE, which is the same generation as the HRAP 3.

Uggggghhh, see the 360 one only has 3 toggles: rsb/lsb<=>rb/lb, start<=>select and then turbo. Well, that's a really odd decision. I liked the toggle on my v3-sa because I can play games I wouldn't be able to without it like Tales of Graces F.

I guess it's more an MS thing if they didn't implement it. thanks for the info.
