That's true. To be honest if I can run the game on low then I'll be happy, at the very least it would give me some more time to save up for a PC.

The last CBT I was able to keep a steady 30fps on my machine.

Its a practice that i'm seeing more and more, Diablo 3 did it too. I guess its cool for the Legolas and DarkLords in the world :V and if i remember correctly, only if there is a person with your same nick you will get the .####, if there aren't you will only be shown your nick.

From what I've played, it's on par or better - to my surprise. So if you're expecting a great compelling storyline from GW2 with voices then yeah, you'll get it.

I get that, but I'd rather just be given the message saying "somebody else chose that one, pick a different name." Better than feeling like I'm some generic AOL user.

That's not really story but more storytelling. While it doesn't have a dialogue wheel like TOR, it does have choices you have to make at certain points of the story that offer different quests.

They probably wouldn't do a full six months. Most of ArenaNet's testing is done in alpha and the early, clandestine parts of the closed beta, as opposed to Blizzard and Bioware's large, extended betas.

Someone on /vg/ posted a screenshot of a retailer's page that listed a release date of July 27th. I'd take that with a grain of salt, obviously, but it sounds plausible enough.
