I'm getting the feeling that some of you would've preferred it Nolan put Catwoman in a black pantsuit with a mask and called it a day.

I don't see what's so bad about her costume, aside from the heels, maybe.
 
Whenever I see the Batman stuff in promo pics it looks silly (I mean, it's a dude in a batsuit), but the movies usually go so quick I don't have time to really get too bothered by it. And Pfister has the ability to make the ridiculous look good, so that helps.

I have a feeling that Hathaway is actually going to do an awesome job, regardless of how uninspired her suit is. And that's after being completely ambivalent about her casting (and the character itself) a year ago.

First thing I thought of when I saw that Catwomen photo was "GAF is gonna hate that". Of course almost immediately my second thought was "GAF hates almost everything", so it's all good. She looks fine to me.
 
All right fine, I'll say it.

Y'all are fucking nuts. She looks incredible. It's like a newer take on the classic Newmar Catwoman. And her ass is fucking fantastic.

Right? TDKR is destined to fail because the villains don't follow the same fashion style! (Okay, Catwoman probably isn't a villain, but I'm gonna treat her like Pfeifer's Catwoman til we know more).

Ra's - suit
Scarecrow - straight jacket over...a suit.
Joker - suit
Two-Face - symmetrically burned suit
 
Honestly, I don't see how can you hate how Catwoman looks but love Batman... It's exactly the same style. Maybe is just conditioning from 2 movies. I'd love to see reaction from pics before Batman Begins premiered.
 
This thread is terrible when it gets to shitty picture out of context analysis mode, especially when the opinions suck.

You should all feel terrible, now think about what you've done.
 
Catwoman looks.... pretty. Would have preferred 'hot', but... oh well. More than the costume, I hope she fights convincingly, but I don't have much faith in Nolan's fight choreographers.
 
In the previous pics I didn't notice the "scales" on Catwoman's suit. It looks better that way and looks less like a Halloween costume. I also dislike the long brown hair, it just looks so... bland. Also it looks like the photoshopped her butt out of that pic.
 
I think the catwoman costume works if the character is a bit psychotic or messed up in the head. All I can guess from the trailers is that she's a (relatively) normal person trying to take down the rich of gotham, so the costume doesn't work for me now. I'm sure when we find out about the character it will work better.
