You shouldn't EVER do a drop pass in your own end. Bench the guy for a period for doing that dumb shit. One would think after the tenth fancy move in his own zone that turns into a shot for the other team that he might, I dunno, move up to at least AHL level defensive knowledge.

Don't watch many Canucks games eh? There's a lot of drop passes that take place in the defensive zone and it really helps the breakout unfortunately they sometimes fail just like every other type of pass.

Yeah, I'm just adding to what fixed said: It's definitely not a good idea when you already had 10 giveaways before and know the other team is paying attention and jumping on it, but generally it creates a lot of offence for us. Just now when we're wonky anyway they should definitely not do it.

Can't argue that, there was lots of good in that period which of bad turnovers. Somehow the stats show 3 GA and 3 TA for both teams though. Unfortunately only one of those matter right now.
