Fucking hell. Luongo finally starts showing up, and the people in front of him start collapsing. Hardworking as they are, there's really no kind way to put it. Backhand pass to a King, goal. Fall down on the powerplay, breakaway, goal. Three guys stand in front of the net and do little more than fall down to impede a wraparound. If they inexplicably pull Luongo for game 3 (are the people on TV deranged?) and put Schneider in, he isn't going to magically fix this sudden inability to abstain from horrendous gaffes. If the Canucks turn things around, and I goddamn hope they do, it'll be due to the realization that a President's Trophy is piss-poor compensation for a first round exit, and not some metaphysical Schneider Effect.
Series still isn't over and Tabris is as prominent tonight as our power play, so I guess there's the silver lining in all this mess.
