There were 14 OTs in the first round of the playoffs last season... including three that went at least 5 periods.
We're up to 6 already and we still have a couple Game 2s on deck.
After the first two games in each series last year, we'd only ventured into OT twice. Well ahead of last year's pace already.

And the Blues commentators are saying he left his feet. They've said it so many times. He did leave his feet... after hitting McDonald. The hitting player often bounces up.
Really can't believe there wasn't a roughing minor or two on the Blues.

McDonald had his head down and is much shorter. He had the puck, he was going to get hit.
I think the complaint isn't that the initial hit was a penalty, everyone agrees it was. The problem is that there was MASSIVE retaliation from the Blues, none of which got penalized.

Anyway, I didn't say it wasn't charging. It was Galiardi's responsibility to recognize that McDonald was having a derp moment with his down between his feet and back out of the check.
There better be a penalty there.
