Crossing a certain bridge in Shadow of the Colossus towards the end got me teary eyed.
This. Subtle formulation.
Crossing a certain bridge in Shadow of the Colossus towards the end got me teary eyed.
Oh shit, that's a good one. I think that might be the only time I've gotten teary-eyed.
When I came home from school to discover my sister (or someone, I don't know) accidentally deleted my Donkey Kong Country save file.
The Halo 3 marketing campaign was high art itself. I loved the interview with the vet as he looked at the diorama.
FF7 Crisis core ending was pretty hard on me. I had done a ton of the side missions so I had really grown to like Zack. I didn't full on cry but it made me tear up.
And I'm not even ashamed. I was playing Skyrim, and I saw some pictures in the PC screenshot thread, and this game seemed to look great with the ENB mod. I thought to myself it looked great, so I went searching and found out this sweet looking mod, ENB hollywood. Installed it, like my games to look like movies so, I even added the letterbox.
I was not ready for it. Started walking around thinking to myself that it looked great, but few ft ahead I reached this beautiful place with two big mammoths and they are shaking the ground, and the orchestral music is kicking my heart's ass and the it looks so beautiful and the sun light...
Couldn't help it. I was in awe, grown man tears coming down my face.
What about you? Have you ever had a moment like that?
Actually you can't really say "you know which scene" from MGS4 'cuz there were so many parts in MGS4 that made me emotional. Microwave? Big boss? Eva? Meeting up with Meryl? Intro? Outro? Shadow Moses?MGS4 - you know which scene..
I didn't cry, but I noticed my eyes getting wet - something I never had before. Then again, this is one of my most beloved franchises. Superb, fuck 'them haters.
I remember this... fuck, Yakuza is sooo good.

when she
died due to namatame
I ended up getting the bad ending in my first play-r.
YES. I dunno if that was the first time but is definitely the one that always springs to my mind.
EDIT: Okay, reading through the thread has reminded me of others where I came close.
FF7:CC - The ending. You know what to expect if you played FF7 but man, the music and the memory wheel thing and everything. Plus I really grew to like the guy thanks to the game.
ME3 - Certain deaths. Spoiler
"Had to be me. Someone else might've gotten it wrong.
Outside of the first game, story is a complete mess imo.
For real OP? That's worse than the guy crying at a double rainbow
CTRL+F Professor Layton
CTRL+F Unwound Future

**disappointed**
Admit it, you got to date Barret and not Aeris in Gold Saucer. The Aerith thing in FF7 never really got me. I used her as a healer too but I dunno. I cared much more about Tifa and Barrett than her.

Nier:
I cried reading theKaine's back story in scenario B
Edit: I also cried when, fuckFyra diesa lot.I liked her and the king
It's even worse when you readFyra's backstory short story in the Grimoire Nier book. She suffered hideous burns on her face as an infant that completely disfigured her, and her parents abandoned her at Facade's doorstep. The prince/king was the only one who played with her, which is why she fell in love with him.
Probably the closest I ever got was in Silent Hill 2 atMary's letter. It gets me right in the heart every time.
