I really, really want these new amazing games TODAY! Which is why while I agree on waiting, I still wished Sony wouldn't announce games so early in development. But the good news is that Sony is supposedly working on that and now they only announce things 6-12 months or so before release. I think Vita was one of the first products under this policy. It released under a year from its announcement.

New game from Sucker Punch? Ready at Dawn? Quantic Dream? Querrilla Games? The possibilities are endless but I think it's the new fighting game from SuperBot. But I hope it's a new Syphon Filter.

It was recently discovered that Sony had registered the PS allstars battle royale website, that's what caused the activity.

I would assume Capcom vs Sony would be exclusive to PlayStation..
Staggered release dates? Anything other than God of War would make sense because that was just revealed.
I guess this way they don't really have to reveal the game and instead can provide more time for them to show off the game.

Wii U re-reveal will overshadow most good from the show in the industry. It's better to get some titles out of the way before to generate some sort of hype.

But they seem to do this every year, though. It takes all the excitement out of their presser when you know 90% of what's being shown.
it shouldnt matter because almost every year 1 or 2 games and a new system announced always overshadow everything else. It makes more sense this way.

Who'd want to play Sony battle royale? What a waste of money, ugh I hope its not that, I hope that game isn't actually in development. Its an unapologetic ripoff of smb. Have a little class Sony, fund a sequel to Syphon Filter or allocate the money to PS4 development.

Because the companies dont give two dicks about "Winning E3". This is about getting their games out there and being discussed, rather than being overshadowed by the other 1000 reveals going on at the same time.
lol, it's in development and Sony registered a domain for it. The question is what it plays like.

In the old thread about this topic from about a week ago it said there would be a bunch of unannounced new games and at the time of that statement god of war was still unannounced. So it could still be footage of that game.

The wording still leaves it open for god of war. Unveil doesn't mean announced for the first time necessarily, kind of like how game informer just unveiled Halo 4 info and screens even though we knew it existed already. And we know GoW4 hasn't had any footage yet.

Im not talking about gameplay, I'm referring to playing as Sony mascots. Its an obvious attempt to mimic the success of ssb. Also I don't think Sony as many iconic characters as Nintendo but whatever I'd just rather money go to games that would be more deserving but that's just my opinion.
If it was God of War 4 they would be promoting it as such. "first God of War footage" would attract far more people to the show than just an enigmatic "new PS3 exclusive", I would think.

No, I don't care for ssb, I rather play tekken, sf, vf or mvsc. I was stating that there are games that I'd more quickly greenlight than this like Mark of Kri, Syphon Filter or something to fill the jrpg void. The cast imo would be of short order anyway; you have Kratos, Cole, Jak+Daxter, Sly Cooper+Murray+Bentley, Sweet Tooth, Ratchet+Clank, Nathan Hale, Nariko, Demon Souls protagonist, Rau, Medieval dude, Spike from Ape Escape, Nathan Drake, a Helghast, a chimera, Sacboy. That's all I can really think of but idk I guess we'll have to wait and see how it turns out

Uh Superbot are the guys who are "allegedly" working on the yet still unannounced Sony fighter. I'd be shocked if the GTTV reveal wasn't on this game.
Yeah, Geoff would be screaming about it at every opportunity if it was GoW.
