How so? By registering a domain name? That's something companies have to do and anyone can keep track of and speculate upon. If you're going to follow a company or industry so closely you're going to find out stuff "early."

For the average consumer who isn't patrolling the internet on a regular basis for new info, this probably will come as a surprise.

I would love it if we could have some good third party characters in Sony Smash Bros., such as Ezio and Altair (Possibly Connor if ACIII is out by the time this comes out), Commander Shepard, and perhaps all of the Mass Effect 1 squadmates? Dante from Devil May Cry would be cool as well.

Can someone explain to me why Sushei Yoshida's tweet to Geoff pretty much confirms it's PlayStation Battle Royale and not possibly any other PS3 exclusive?

Don't get me wrong, I've been hoping for a game like this since forever and it's definitely what I want the announcement to be, I'm just not connecting the dots like you guys are right now.

The domain name I can see, but PlayStation Battle Royale isn't the only game Geoff could of possibly had fun playing.


Just a random thought, but what if this is being made by SSM? Saying this because in that Tester episode it seemed like they were definitely playing a competitive multiplayer game and unless you really think GOW:A could be going that route . . . . SSM is a quite big as well, helped work on many big games recently including Twisted Metal and Starhawk. Wouldn't be surprised if it's another one of those start-up-developer + SSM tag team developments.

Supposedly but something tells me that this will be a quick look at the game and the 2nd will be a big gameplay reveal to follow up the GoW:A one earlier that week. If it's two different games one of them will most definitely be Battle Royale.
