How about some rpgs though Sony? They're the only one of the 3 without at least 1 great exclusive RPG. Japanese or western.

infamous festival of blood is what they moved onto. After that, hopefully it is a Vita game or next gen title.

Well they did the stand-alone DD game Fesitval of Blood. Im still not sure about the inFAMOUS IP. First one was generic but fun, 2nd one the characters were better but the city seemed lifeless, and with the small DD game they struck the right balance but still not there. I rather they do a new IP instead of the the 3rd game tbh.
I actually forgot about that thanks to dark souls. Ok they have 1.

We haven't heard anything from or about GG so I wouldn't bet on it.
Whatever Guerrilla's new IP is, it needs to be a PS4 title.
They have 2 teams now as well. One working on a Vita/PS3 game, and the other doing who knows what, but most likely PS4 development.
I know. If it's really gonna be a fantasy RPG of some sorts, it as a PS4 title will probably blow our socks off. XD

I purchased and beat festival of blood last year around Halloween. I don't think they are still working on that unless I missed something.
I am sure they have been up to something the past few months.
Looks like a mix between Kayne and Lynch and Breaking Bad.
I can see why it was canned though. It looks really cool, but I don't know if Sony wanted to have 2 big action TPS titles, and this one looked to have quite a few technical problems.

A very small team probably did the work on Festival of Blood, and it may have already been mostly complete once the game went gold.

The animations look pretty good but just way too long, especially the position swap, the gameplay just lacks the snappiness.

Exactly. FOB uses already made assets like city. It's just shorter simpler story, with new powers and enemies (which they might already had made). It was probably a test, a good one since that game sold really really well.

But he said "great" exclusive RPGs so who knows what he's talking about. Personally, I'd go with Demon's Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 4 and the Atelier games over the 360's exclusive RPG lineup but he clearly doesn't think they're any good.

I wouldn't consider any of those great and I'm not even counting my personal taste since I counted Demon's Souls (I hate that game) and I think 3D dot game heroes is solid.
If we're counting PC then I guess no the 360 doesn't have any exclusive wrpgs but for the vast majority who don't have a gaming PC they do. Mass Effect 1 at the very least. Oblivion was huge for the system in the early days too even though it made its way to ps3 later on when no one cared anymore
Sony's suffered quite a bit by not jumping on the wrpg bandwagon like 360 did and like PC always has. I don't really think of Fable as a great wrpg but it sells a lot for Microsoft.
It was next week when I made it last week, so now its this week. As in, Thursday.

Wow this looks great I haven't seen it before only the CGI one. The animations are obviously rough and you can see them being triggered but that could all be fixed with polish. The rest of it looks real cool I hope the game continues production next-gen.

WRPG is a huge market and Sony missed it completely, they need a wrpg ip, Sony used to have a great one and that was Drakan (Action RPG) but they abandoned that series long ago.
I think an RPG in Killzone universe can be very good if done well (since the back story and the universe of Killzone is way better than the actual games)but I am not sure who can do it in for Sony since they don't have studios that make rpg games.
That or they can take the Demon's Souls IP and make it more western.
