Gear will be the biggest thing allowing you to progress. By the time you've reached Inferno, you'll be close to the skill ceiling.

In Diablo 2, gear had a massive impact on what you could accomplish. With poor gear, my sorceress might do 3K chain light damage, be worthless against immunies, and be completely mana starved. With proper gear, my sorceress would do 16K chain light, pierce immunes, be able to teleport freely, cast spells at twice the speed, not have to worry about any mana costs, etc...

Poor gear basically meant as soon as you went into Nightmare, your immunities would be shot. Especially once you hit Hell and it started in the - figures.

I am sure all these hardcore players will have plenty of random loot in their banks to help out new players.

Since your physical copy = a digital + actually things in your hand, and I live in Brooklyn with midnight launches and a 3 A.M. start time, the physical copy is the correct choice for me.

GameStop, have had a retail boxed copy paid off since December of last year. Looking forward to playing with my old school PC gaming buddies and GAF.

I was just pulling an Assassin's Creed 3 stunt

Here's my build.

I'm only hesitant on the mouse skills as I wanted a single target skill --torn between Poison Dart + Splinters, Firebats+Dire bats, Haunt+whatever-- but I just love how Firebomb looks.

As for the RMB skill: since I already have a very powerful CC in Mass Confusion, I wanted a big AoE spell but I'm undecided between the myriad of awesome looking skills on the Decay tree (Acid Cloud, Wall of Zombies, etc...)

Anyone else doing a Sacrifice build?

When you first unlock skills they are rune-less. The skill calculator just offers you the possibility to show you current (low) build, experiment with low level rune-less builds, etc.

On the left column of that page, you have your account details (email, name), and your Battletag, with a "Create one now" link. This should work, so, physical buyers, this is your solution.

Basically each time you play you can select public game or private game.

If it's a public game it will match you with random people on the same quest, other people can drop in and drop out.

If its a private game, your friends can quick join your game, or you can send invites to people for them to join.

The sacrifice build don't really need protection, mass confusion then blow up everything with sacrifice, pick the health globe, blow up again, etc... It's the theory, we will see how well that work in practice but I think 1100% weapon damage is enough to kill each pack.

Zombie Charger : good range, good %damage AOE.

yeah i understand that, but whats the purpose of offering it as an option.


im thinking blizzard kept it in there so people have the option to increase the difficulty and do runeless runs.
