The chronological track listing doesn't really spoil anything. From Ridley Scott himself

- The fact that the ship is the same one from ALIEN, the design of the engineer suit is the same, there are two major corporations WEYLAND and YUTANI (both corporations mentioned in the film's press release summary).
It's an alien prequel, it's just a lot more self-contained than the other iterations.

As cool as that would be, it wouldn't make sense.
Not enough time will have passed between the 'birth' to the body decomposing and all those eggs being laid. Unless you mean a shot of the Nostromo leaving Earth...which would be cool, but the a shot of it near the planet, while cool, will trigger a shitstorm.

Too cliche and predictable of an ending .Every single Alien fan would be guessing that so Ridley absolutely will not do it that way. It'll be more subtle.

Sorry I meant communications sent to potential extra terrestrials, not from aliens. I figure they're just sending all sorts of random broadcasts to test for responses, including those two videos.
