Nono, I mean the ones that are voice. I click the "new lore" button to activate the voice over, but it also brings up the lore window which I then have to close. It's annoying.

The items currently up on the EU auction house are completely stupid.

50,000 gold for a jerkin with armor rating of 3. Yeah, good luck with that.
 
Just played an hour without any problems. Got the message servers were going down in a few minutes so figured that was my cue.

How do we get on the list? My battletag is Coopolon#1670

That list so massive though...are people going through and adding everyone line by line?

I'm planning on playing WD with a group of friends so figured I'd play a monk.

Just got in after a server maintenance and got a server shutdown message. Never thought I'd be able to say that about any single player game.

I really, really love the banter between followers and quest followers. Extremely minor spoilers, but I thought I should be careful:

Leah: I've spent years exploring places with Uncle Deckard. This brings back memories.
Templar: I too enjoy hunting evil creatures through strange new lands.
Leah: I was talking about happy memories.
Templar: As was I.

I just love how confused he sounded with that last line lol
 
Level 8 now, waitin for the servers to go down and come back up. Did Jar of Souls and got the blacksmith with my friend... we played the beta but there are already new things I am noticing (mainly journal entries, some additional randomization and new enemy abilities). Good stuff!
 
Honestly as someone who didn't buy Diablo 3, this is just stupid. But how many of you did or did not expect this? I honestly wouldnt have bought this if I had a competent pc until server issues are sorted out or they patch it so you can play your singleplayer game whenever you fucking feel like it.

Not trying to troll here, but since this is the OT I feel this is a legitimate question and I didnt want to make a new thread for it.

Btw I'm not saying your purchases aren't validated or whatever, I mean if you think this is the GOTF then great. I really would love to play this but my pc sucks :).

Well now I'm forced to start the game with 9k gold and a blacksmith level of 3, when I don't have a clue how to even use the blacksmith, because Blizzard thinks that's a good idea to save me time?

Can I associate my D3 purchase to two separate b.net accounts to bypass this? I work every day, I don't want to come home to play and have my brother have dumped a load of stuff in the stash and maxed out smithing and whatnot for me..

Plus damage is way to good, I have a neck with 3-6 plus damage and if I try and replace it with a neck with 55dex and plus 25% crit damage its a dps decrease (monk)

HC is not difficulty. And its not knowing everything, but basic that were also in Diablo 1.



BTW i've just died, rotfl. Because i havent noticed Thorn aura on elite boss and was wondering why my hp is dropping fast, but i kept hitting him to kill him before he would kill me xD

Oh hell YEAH! Grats man, lucky as hell. We get a feat of strength for installing the CE too, I noticed it when I logged in. I'm wearing the all white dye on all of my equipment with the Tyrael wings. Corny as hell but I don't care lol.
 
So I got to play for about an hour and a half before this shutdown popped up. Some of the quest dialog post-SK felt hammy to me, but I like where the story is going nonetheless. It opens up a fair bit after the SK, giving you a lot of optional dungeons and events to do that are pretty fun. It certainly starts to feel more like Diablo 2 after that point.
