Battlefield 6 Servers full and has a queue ahead of beta launch . . .

"just hours before the open beta launches for those with early access, EA has had to trigger the kind of queue system we're used to seeing with PC MMOs.
IGN's Jesse Gomez was put into a queue earlier today when trying to access the Battlefield 6 Open Beta on Steam, and found himself presented with a 'game servers full' message. His queue position: 22,880."
"Checking again just before this article was published, the queue position had jumped to 31,000."

Silly me didn't know there was an open beta! Downloading now, will try it during the weekend.

I wonder how does it run, considering it is Frostbyte. Might feel real good on a sea of UE5 slop, fucking Battlefield on a PS4 looked better than many games released today while running miles better.

Aug 7th-8th is the people that paid for early access, ea play pro, or got a twitch code drop. August 9-10 and 14-17 is the actual Open beta.

Yep I know. Thing is just noticed the game has some stupid kernel-level anti-cheat so huh, I might have to think about it.

yea, I bought a new PC about a year ago, and I already have all that stuff turned on apparently. So should work for me.
No I don't mean the BIOS stuff they put as a requirement. I mean that the steam page warns that the game has kernel-level anti-cheat that has to be manually removed after uninstalling the game.

Ikr? People really think the beta cant handle 10k steam players at once? There will be que tomorrow in prime time, but nothing like this
The fact that they wrote an entire article on this and then seeing it being posted here is worrying, people don't even think for a second.

Hmm, didn't know that. I thought it just needed Secure Boot and GPT drive mode. What does manual removal from the kernel even mean? flash the bios?

For Easy Anti-Cheat it's just opening the terminal and running some commands, don't know about this one tho.

But even if it takes low effort to remove it seems so half-baked to me, like couldn't they just include those command lines on the uninstall process? Seems whack that it's left to the user to deal with that crap.

I had this with Battlefield 1 recently. When you uninstall the game, it only uninstalls the game. The anti-cheat software is still present in your PC. To remove it you have to uninstall it seperetaly. To do that you need to navigate to your Program Files/EA folder and run the javelin.exe that's in there and click uninstall.

I got this on my steam page, do i get the early access?
