Just a dumb question, where can you see your total DPS in-game? Or you can only see this in the character summary in the selection screen?

Oo ? In your character stats.

Finished Act I with my DH, smoke screen is so cheated against boss/champion with CC like jailer/vortex or some special pull. ^^
Achievements disappeared a lot of time, I'm in Act2 and I didn't kill SK. :D

Just got off after playing for a few hours. Really enjoyed what I've played so far. I have never played a Diablo game before this, so it's all new to me, but I'm loving it. Got a Wizard at level 11 right now and he's awesome.

Wow, are demon hunters pretty weak or do I just suck? I die soooo easily

I dunno...probably suck :P

Haven't died once yet, although I got close on the mid? act 1:
Butcher
.

Been literally exploring every nook and cranny and have no interest in rushing.

Oh god, FU Blizzard. The game rolled us back after we fought the Skeleton king and we lost our loot. So assy. we go back and try him again and no yellows, FUB! FU!

Ok, so from what I'm hearing, its around 12 hrs to complete the main quest? So what's the appeal of the "gotta keep coming back" end? Does the dungeons randomly generate every time?

This happened to me in the beta haha. Hope it doesn't happen again in the full game :x

Loot..harder difficulties.

I dunno about 12 hours...maybe 12 hours rushing like whoa.

I've been playing literally all day exploring everything and I'm not even through Act 1 yet.

I played for over eight hours yesterday and after the maintenance, I lost ALL my achievements. You hear me, ALL OF THEM. They are all gone. Except for the ones i had when I first logged in.

Just a note for young, aspiring wizards -

In the beginning you start with a wand and your magic missile spell. The second you get a secondary skill you'll lose your wand attack. Don't bother looking for it - it's gone for good!

From now on, your weapon damage will determine how much damage some of your spells do. So the higher your weapon damage is, the harder your spells will hit.

Hope this helps.

My cursor is acting crazy in game. Becomes unresponsive at odd times and pretty sporadic. What the heck is going on?

edit: not too mention the crappy latency :(

Anyone about the cursor problem? It's driving me nuts. Perhaps I should just stop playing for the night. Horrible latency and constant spiking.

edit: sigh, changed my resolution down to 720p instead of native, I guess there's something going on somewhere.... nope. that didn't fix it.

I'm currently act 2 after 6-8 hours, but 12 hrs to complete the main quest ? Maybe if you rush through everything. The appeal are the higher difficulties, with (much) stronger enemies, better loot and a feeling of challenge, not to mention that there's five different characters you may want to try. The dungeons/areas are - as far as I can tell - randomly generated.

Not to mention the PvP stuff they will cram into it later.

Cool, thanks. I had buddies who were obsessed with Diablo II, so having never played one myself, I read about the 12 hr timeframe earlier. From what I've played, I can definitely see the reasons as to why this game is so addicting. Simple to learn, difficult to master.

How long does it take to get an authenticator removed from your account? It seems there's some tomfoolery going on with my cell phone so I requested to have it removed. They told me I had to wait until the report processed for them to e-mail me back. How long does that usually take?

So does it matter what kind of weapon I am using for this?

It's pretty instant. But you need your phone to receive a sms I think

mine was removed instantly

Getting error 3006.

Was fighting some purple unique monster in the sunken temple when the game lagged out and booted me, now I can't log back on.

:(

I never understand why someone feels the need to defend a mess like this. :| I mean, I want to play a game, I should be able to play it. It's that simple.

But to act as though this totally hit you upside the head is the problem. Do you know how many people are playing this game? Most ordered PC game on Amazon?

You have years and years to play this game. Waiting until things clear out (a fucking day or two) isn't the end of the world. I'm not defending this really, I'm just fed up that people are bitching constantly. WE KNOW. By Friday or even Thursday I can guarantee this will be a thing of the past. If not being about to play D3 for a day is the only thing you have to worry about, then I envy your life situation, pal.

To everyone who's in a party:

IF YOU ARE RUSHING TO THE GOAL INSTEAD OF EXPLORING, YOU ARE THE WORST. YOU'RE PLAYING WRONG.

I absolutely love exploring. my friend and I have called our session... it began at 12 last night :) We're ~24 and haven't gotten through Act II (however, we're a quest or two away)

we take our time all throughout the zones.. I love it. I love hunting down the dungeons... we go to the top left, top right, and then fill in the spots :)

I love the feeling of finding a random dungeon... waiting to be plundered and have it's booty stolen! :)

It makes me cringe knowing that many people run past that dungeon because there is no quest that says to go there...

I have a friend who has been messaging me begging for help because he doesn't understand where to pick up quests... (ie: WHERE ARE ALL THE QUEST GIVERS Y ISNT THIS LIKE WOW?)

blows my mind

I fucking love this game

Played through Act 1 with a couple of buddies tonight. Feels like classic Diablo. It is still taking some geting used to not having to spend skill points and str/dex/vit/energy points.
