Digital stuff for a hundred bucks? No.
Whoa. This will be the first limited/special/custom edition I've bought since Halo 2.
Naw, I just don't like buying junk. This LE has things I'll actually appreciate / use.Cheapskate!
Kidding.
If it's 100 here, then no, I'll pass. What I've seen so far hasn't inspired me enough to get this.
**Minimum 8GB USB Flash Drive or Xbox 360 Hard Drive required for Multiplayer. For optimal experience in Campaign mode, play with Xbox 360 Hard Drive. (For Xbox 360 4 GB, Arcade and Core consoles, Xbox 360 Hard Drive sold separately). See http://xbox.com/halo/harddrive for specifications.
Call Gamestop and find out.So...is this ready to be pre ordered at Gamestop If i go?
Bummer. I'm sure there will still be some available in 5+ hours, though. At work. Will have to wait 5+ hours.![]()
I like that buying the limited edition gives me access to the first 3 map packs, more limited editions should do that.
Good call for them to only have one type of limited edition, although that was probably primarily motivated by the fact that the Halo: Reach legendary edition bombed and got tons of negative feedback from fans.
Digital content in special editions is such crap.
Yeah it's like getting a season pass, but with a shit ton of other goodies on top of it.
Exactly. I understand people who don't want "digital crap", but I'd much rather have map packs than cat helmets.I wish more companies would do this, or have an option for this. I'm not buying most special editions so I have some art books and ugly statues taking up space in my room. Give me access to things I can use in game, especially map packs that I would probably buy anyway, that's how you get my attention.
Map packs that should be free for everyone, you mean. But keeping a good MP community isn't as much of an issue when the new hotness is only 2 years away, max.Give me access to things I can use in game, especially map packs that I would probably buy anyway

A season pass plus a bunch of other stuff. I dunno, this is all subjective, but it seems like a good package to me.seems like they are just having a Season Pass as the main selling point to the LE, and charging you $100 to compensate.
Yeah, me too. I think all but one of Halo 3's map packs are free now, but they've been out for years, so that's not saying much.Miss the old days of Halo 2 map packs that eventually became free.
I feel sorry for all those cats going to war missing vital protection.
I was hoping for a big green cat codpiece. =(I feel sorry for all those cats going to war missing vital protection.
Your cat's crotch is still dangerously vulnerable though. My cat is still protected courtesy of Halo 3.

Guess those days are long gone in the video game industry.
My buddies and I split the cost of the map pack disc and shared it. Shared! It's a shame the model will never come back.
It's £70 RRP so probably 90 Euros?
Also, it seems Arcade owners are boned again for multiplayer.

No Legendary Edition?
God damn it, I wanted another statue or something.
