Yeah getting 230 ping lol. No idea though, it's totally lagless, no problems at all.

How about this: 6pm PST--people with jobs coming home from work are frustrated that they can't play the game they spent $60~$100 on, when most of them are here for the single-player experience.

Then again, I imagine it would be hard to understand this point of view if you don't work and have the entire day to spend playing games on the computer. By all means, continue your defense of a major corporation that is majorly fucking up. I'm sure they need your help!

it was less than 15 minutes
load up the game and play

That isn't realtime. I just logged on and playing with a friend right now.

Seems to be almost realtime. When I logged out (because the game said the servers were going down) that site said they were still up, but a few minutes later it said they were down. (Europe.)

i keep getting lag rewind.

this is ridiculous.

Yeah, that happens far more often than it should. Actually, quite a few server-related things do.

My MBP has higher than what is recommended on Blizzards site - but it runs like absolute crap most of the time. Insanely choppy. I have turned nearly everything to low and adjusted the distance fps to 60 and after a little bit my laptop feels like it is going to catch on fire its so hot.

Might now be getting the full game after all if I cant get this to run semi-decently :/

Forgot to switch to the better gfx card?

This seems to be a Mac problem, if all the complaints online are to be believed. I'm having the same issues.

Wondering how well it runs through Boot Camp.

I can see where you're coming from tho. I'm an unemployed bum so it's easy for me to say that stuff. Still even if i was in your situation (just came home from work and greeted with down servers) before flipping out i'd see what's wrong and after reading that it's only 15 mins i'd make a sandwich and pass the time. If it was hours or even 1 hour i agree i'd be pissed but it was less than 15 mins.

After paying one hundred bucks it'd be cool if I could just play when I want to.

My solution: only let people with CE accounts play on heavy usage days.

Well then, I take it EU servers ain't going up for a while?

I don't have a super fast connection, but I have a decent wifi setup.

All my mouse clicks are taking a good 1-2 seconds to register.

I don't -- I just -- I --

My MacBook Pro is exactly equal to the minimum specs and its playable for me but certainly not great (bring on Ivy Bridge!).

Do you have boot camp installed? I've found it runs much better for me in Windows.

Here's an idea Blizzard: borrow a page from SWTOR and others and have a week of pre-release play to ease people in. This shit isn't that hard.

Or better yet just have offline play like goddamn Starcraft 2. Maybe security will suffer, whatever. This isn't worth it.

Go play with the box and let the digital download people have fun with the only thing they got: the game.

Double chakrams are so good and so hatred efficient....

Lets be real, Its overpowered as hell. Im using the hell out of it, but its going to get a hatred cost increase. Put 80 mobs in a hallway with a melee in your party and you can spam that indefinitely if you have the passive that restores hatred when someone in your party picks up a health globe. Double Chakrams are absurd right now.

I dont, but I'm definitely considering it.

You should give it a shot.

It's clear to me that very few developers optimize their OS X clients, particularly for older hardware, and the Windows version will run much better.

Few games are equivalent for me in both OS's. TF2 runs equally well on both, Wow was fantastic on my Mac when I played it, but Diablo 3 is an unplayable mess, sadly.

Cool, I'll probably do that then.
Will it add extra stress to my CPU/Graphics Card if keep my laptop closed and use an external cinema display?

Here let me highlight my post this time so people who want to be added to the battletag list will actually read it instead of scrolling by.

IF YOU WANT TO BE ADDED TO THE BATTLETAG LIST YOU WILL WANT TO INCLUDE ALL 5 FIELDS (THAT INCLUDES GAF NAME, BATTLETAG, LOCATION, CLASS, AND DEATH MODE [HARDCORE/SOFTCORE]) INTO YOUR POST, OR BETTER YET PM ONE OF THE LIST CONTRIBUTORS (MYSELF, ZEALOUSD, NACIRE, HENRYHSH, AND CARBONATEDFALCON).

*cough*

Let me add this, then:

Yesterday, I came home and the servers were down and weren't to come up for three hours (11:30pm PST).

I come home the next day and the servers come down after playing for 10 minutes. Word is they'll be up soon. Then Blizzard posts on Twitter that "unexpected difficulties" are causing delays.

What am I to think, then? Oh great, another night of no chance to play! It's good they're up now, and I'm going to go try to enjoy the game, but it's frustrating as all hell.

It doesn't help that I didn't get any message in-game about the servers coming down and the awesome new 2-handed sword I picked up, equipped, and was using, is no longer in my inventory.

Yep, it's the i-win button.

Only level 5 on my monk, but between the server issues and actual gameplay I am kinda underwhelmed.

Didn't play a lot of D2, but did a lot of Torchlight so I think my expectations where unrealistic.

Not saying this is a bad game at all, but with the mass hysteria around it, I was expecting the second coming :P
