So I log into the game, and apparently I have a friend request from someone who found me through a Facebook friend finder. What the hell? I don't really like the fact that Facebook can let people know I'm playing Diablo.

Alright, taking a break. This shit's fun. Too bad the rare I got from SK was extremely crappy... On the bright side, it dropped a pretty good blue (which has meanwhile been replaced too though). But soooo addictive, this game, damn. My ping went up from 230 to 360 too, but it surprisingly doesn't lag too bad/often, definitely still playable. Still right in the middle of Act I somewhere, like 6h in, level 11.
Responsive for me, but I have no idea why the servers are getting such high latency right now.
Green bar for me is is usually around 230-250 (thanks Blizzard) and I notice lag here and there. Today though I've died twice from being booted and have constantly been stuck in the orange with 400+.
Wait what? Can you send some links? I'm going to investigate.
You have a D-Link router by any chance?

I don't have any links, it just showed up in my game when I first logged in. I already had a friend request from someone who is also a friend on Facebook. I use the same email for both my Facebook account and my Battle.net account, so that's how they're connected I guess. I don't really like that they allow that.
About the item drops...TBH I' m only getting crap items from mobs. Checked out the AH and bought some sick items on there that I would never find at my current level.
I wish dropped magic items would be stronger, They all go straight to the anvil
Should probably be selling some at the AH though.

It can definitely take a while. I think I've usually been about level 9 when I fought him, though. Are you taking a break from focusing on him to clear his minions for health orbs every now and then?
Sorry lost track of the thread in the midst of all the playing. It turns you into a spirit type thing giving you some new attacks for a few seconds. Makes the wizard a bad ass.
Level 35 now, working on Act 1 Nightmare, Arcane Enchanted can kiss my ass. Ridiculous!!

I had a good time today with it, but the latency issue is quite frustrating. Would jump from 200 to 400+ every minute or so. Guess I'll take that over the servers being down for hours though.
Maybe it has to do something with RealID..

I asked this question eariler in the week and was told that the Mac version would be fine. But I also fount out that the beta for the OSX had frame rate problems. So now that the game is out whats the verdict? Is it just as good as the PC version? Could the entry level Imac run this game?

That's probably what I need to do. I think I was spending too much time trying to keep him in stun, that I wasn't worried enough about his minions. Will try that tomorrow. I needs to get some sleep.

Ah good find, thanks for the info. This is my first time using Battle.net so I didn't even know I had a RealID. I'll just untick that then.
Actually yes. Is this some firmware issue? Never had any other problems with other games.

Never got the achievement for getting the blacksmith (I hope that's not a spoiler...) and am worried about leveling him for fear that the whole achievement chain will be broken. Tried creating another character but they have the blacksmith already open (as he is account bound). Switched to the European servers but then noticed that they are on an entirely different set of achievement progress. Anyone else have this issue?
Im on the US servers, cant comment on EU. Plus its better than all the in game crap at the shops and cheaper too. I keep looking for Legendarys for under 5000g buyout lol.

Probably a dumb question, but how do I get into the RMAH? I just installed the game and wanted to check that out ad it told me I am blocked because of Parental controls. Since I don't have PC turned on I figured that maybe I needed them on first? I went to the battle.net site and clicked to turn them on and it said I needed to send myself a verification email first, but they never seem to send it. Has anyone else run into this issue?
Beginning of Act 2 - well, after enchantress. I think I have good abilities for attack and defense - to get out of something fast, but still.
Some types of unique mobs are so hardcore.
I have 2x70dmg 1.40sp fist weapons with flawless red rubys for added damage and near 3800hp.
I think I must invest in vitality more.
I must try the healing wave and use mantra of healing upped to 7minutes too...

Quick Question: i am downloading the guest version right now, its going painfully slow. Is it possible to just activate the full version after I played the guest version without downloading anything else?
It sucks that the game doesn't save your town portals when you leave. :<
Like if you use a portal to go into town, and you leave the game to go sell stuff at the Auction House or you're simply just done, once you jump back in it sends you back to the area you ported from and resets it. It doesn't just put you back into town and keep the portal. I'm assume it's just because areas randomize when you leave and come back. I don't see why it should if you used a town portal to save your location, but I guess that's just how the game logic works.
It'd be less annoying if you could access the Auction House in-game, but it doesn't appear that you can.

Using a scoundrel for my follower for my monk since his range will help with the melee focused monk.
What should I choose for his Level 10 skill?
Dirty Fighting - Blind enemies in front of the scoundrel for 3 seconds, 30 second cooldown
