Beat the game on Normal, level 32. Really fun. On to nightmare!
 
Alright, tear me apart, how am I doing? My DPS looks low compared to other people my level...but I feel way too powerful in the game. I'm almost completely in rares, and every pack of enemies goes down in 1-2 seconds, lol.

I've been playing with several groups of friends, each at different points in the story and now I have NO idea what the hell is going on in the game.

My Monk feels more like a "follower" than an active participant in the story because of this. A mindless punching machine that creates pools of bloody gore with his fists for random groups of adventurers.

... he gores with his fists!

Then just go select the earliest consistent quest you have and go from there!

least
favorite are Mortar + Waller. Holy hell, they wall you in and then just rain down Mortar fire.

I wonder if it's possibly to have Mortar + Prison... that would be the worst.

Hmm, your DPS does seem kinda low.

I'm same level as you on my DH and I'm about 250DPS I believe

Nope. It booted me off even quicker after trying that actually. Looks like I'll just resort to doing a power cycle since it looks like no one else is having the problem

My wizard is pretty much in the same camp as you. Either they're supposed to be a lot weaker DPS wise than other classes or our equipment sucks.
 
I don't think you can really compare different class DPS all that well.

Sure, the game says my level 24 Witch Doctor does 170dps, but that doesn't tell the whole story. Soul Harvest is almost always up for me and can result in me more than doubling my DPS, for example.

You should never look at the dps
 
Is there a way to zoom out beyond the two default levels? Even though I'm running 1600x1200, I'm quite sure I see less than with 800x600 in D2 :/

And anyway to disable some of the windows (chat, huge ass map)?

well gear at a certain level should provide roughly the same dps in the character sheet just because of how itemization works. this value ignores your skills thats why i'd say its a good compare.
 
Enchantress when coupled with a Monk:

Reflect Missile or Powered Armor?

Right now I'm kind of tankish so I'm thinking powered armor, but reflect missile sounds pretty neato.

Blizz decided they hate me even more and logged me in next to a mob, they even gave me lag as bonus? I was really sad and cried abit. So I called my mother and out of the blue she said ... son, you are adopted. Your parents are korean.

Challenge accepted.

I kept dieing a lot as a barb on nightmare but finally finished it, level 49 at the moment, the problem though is I need to focus to defensive armour and stats to survive which means no max dps, which kinda kills the fun of playing a barb

Also, with regard to #3, do you get anything other than Subtle Essence and Fallen Teeth? I've got like 130 Essence and about 30 teeth. I haven't used them because I haven't found anything worth buying or crafting.

With such [artificially limited] baggage space and the constant finds, I just don't know what I'm supposed to do with this shit. Some of the Rare items are pretty good, some aren't. Also, is there a way to trade one item directly for another, rather than trading for money, then buying for money?

If AH is the best option, I'll do that. I just hadn't felt like looking at current market prices and doing all that.

Sorry if this has been discussed already...
I'm only level 7 but I got to ask is this it? Does the character building get any deeper or is it all based on loot? So far I have not had a choice in what skills to unlock, does the skill tree deepen? Also no leveling up my character or skills? Seems odd for a Diablo game?
 
Does skill runes stack? Like if i unlock a new rune in the same skill and pick it, do i still have all the benefits of the lower level runes?
