Found my first legendary, Moon Slayer Ceremonial Knife. Snagged after a couple extra runs on
Kulle
(Act 2 spoiler). Doesn't increase my WD's dps much but still cool.
 
I cant recall any game in recent memory that Ive sunk this much time in this fast. Its hard with a job and all that adult stuff, but Ive managed to set up a...

- Level 21 Demon Hunter
- Level 15 Barbarian
- Level 12 Wizard
- Level 4 Monk

Would love to get some more GAFers on my friends list, have no one to play with. Just wish there was a fast way to add everyone. If anyone wants to add me, ApathyReigns#1159! : )

Good lord, haha. Well done! My "adult stuff" slows me down much more than you, I think.
 
There's really no reason to use a meelee weapon as a Demon Hunter right? One hour into the demo I have a crappy crossbow and a pretty good sword, but I'm thinking I should just sell the sword since most of the skills I have unlocked don't even work with it.
 
I feel like I'm not doing enough damage on my 39 Demon Hunter.

Up in Nightmare Act II right now and I feel like the rest of my party is doing the work.

What am I missing, fellow DHs? What is the super secret destroy build?

Hes not too bad, the trick is to avoid his charge, and stay out of the fire. I actually died my first time on him by not paying attention to the fire.
 
Ping is atrocious, sitting around 450 when I'm usually at 200

THEY CAN'T STOP ME DOE

Anyway, I was going to ask; what criteria do I search for in the auction house if I want something that adds damage like 2-4 damage. It shows up as wounding in game but that isn't listed as an option

Just because someone doesn't think along the same lines as you doesn't make them ridiculous. Also, there's a big difference between suspecting something and having it explicitly written out somewhere. Now, instead of someone wondering about how something will turn out - they know for a fact (since you confirmed it) what will happen, removing any shred of doubt or speculation.

The fact is, a little bit of courtesy goes a long way, even if it isn't explicitly required or stated in the OP. Try taking a second to think how other people might interpret your post. I'm not saying you should censor yourself, but spoilers on things like bosses or story events are probably safe bets.

Yeah, the sound design is top notch. All of the small visual touches here and there really show the love that went into the game.
 
So GAF, I need your help. I'm trying to get Leoric's Shinbone
to eventually get to Whimsyshire
but, I don't see it. Here's a picture someone on the battle.net forums posted

Apparently, there's supposed to be wood in the fireplace that you click on and the bone falls out.

I've gone back and forth between New Tristram, exited the manor, completed all of Act 1 (which was pretty fucking awesome by the way :D ) and gone back to that spot and still nothing. Any help would be awesome.
 
I'm playing wizard, about an hour into Act 2 and I can't for the life of me figure out how you guys are hitting 200 dps at level 20. I'm still at a measly 80. Granted my spells do better damage, but that goes for every other class as well.
 
Is Witch Doctor DPS ever not going to be downright ridiculous? I'm in Act II (normal) and I feel like I'm playing the game on EZ-Mode right now. I totally understand that it's the easiest difficulty, but this is a little silly.

They might be playing WD. I just hit 20 and my baseline's 135, with massive buff from my "Arcane Brilliance" type ability in combat.
 
I just bought a few things off the AH.. where do I actually collect them? I don't see a mailbox and they didn't just go to my inventory.

Edit: Found the "Send to Stash" bit.

I'm assuming the drop and chances of it being there are randomized. You'll probably have to restart the chapter and go at it again. The black mushroom doesn't always appear every run too.
 
anyone know what I can do with my gtx 570? I am stuck at like 30fps for no reason. If I OC i get a solid 60fps. Every other game runs as it should. I am on the newest beta drivers and I am well above specs on everything else.
 
Loving this so far, my Wizard is lvl 27 and just about to start Act 3. 570 dmg (after magic weapon buff). Been playing mainly with the same people but I think we backtrack too much...18 hours and we just started act 3 lol

For those having trouble with dps, make sure to constantly upgrade your weapon and look for weapons, rings and amulets that give +dmg
