Gaaaahh. Go away Bashiok!

How do you find him is he a rare mob? Also where do you get the blade for the achievement?

Also act 1 and 2 own but Act 3 is so fucking long and boring

I was abusing farming the chest in Act 2 and checked around for elites with easy mods. He popped up.
Went down like a bitch.
No idea about the blade, but there is a Rakanishu event in the same zone so maybe it's a rare drop from it?

Is Chakram really the solution to DH? I always hated Hammerdins and this skill is making me feel like one.

It's only good in early levels. Later on it's pretty assy IMO. It doesn't do much damage, it's arcs are unpreditable in hitting your enemies, and it can easy be blocked by terrain.

In the harder difficulties you're more worried about elites... which chakram doesn't do anything again.

damn, I feel bad after seeing all your amazing characters. I don't know why my barb sucks, I'm lvl 32 NM @ 400 DPS.
Is there tips or pointers I could read for a complete Diablo noob? Like what to spend your money on, what to upgrade when playing Barbarian, etc.

You running the chest on Hell? You still doing that? I'd like to get in on that. I need better gear...

I'm level 21. Are most using Diamond Skin or Frost Nova? I think I like Diamond Skin more, but I constantly forget to use it.

Strength, Vitality. If you use 1H weapons, get +DMG items since fast weapons get ridiculously good benefits from them. Upgrade your weapon. I just got a weapon upgrade that gave me almost 1k in DPS due to how everything scales.

Yeah. Got myself a new 1H, a new chest and a couple of items worth selling. Hopefully the AH unborks itself so I can actually sell stuff.

Personally I don't think so - yet people rave about them for some reason. There are better skills to use hatred on. However, it is dependent on the situation somewhat. Still though, I personally never use them (and I've tried to since people have praised them so much, just haven't liked them or fit my play-style).

I have sent you a friend request. If you are running the chest right now pls invite me.

Uh, double chakram is 200% wep damage for 10 hatred. The only thing more efficient is rapid fire and double chakram has bonus AOE damage.

Personally, I hate double chakram, mostly because I solo a lot - I use lightning elemental arrow instead then - but if you have a tank, double chakram is a solid aoe+single target skill.

So DH sucks in the later game? I'm on act 3 normal and double chakram seriously just feels like cheating. It obliterates everything. I think my dps is like 350 or something. I don't know if that is average or what.

Fellow WD, starting Nightmare and I switched from my exploding toads (:( ) to firebomb with the rolling bones rune. BLOWING SHIT UP!

I think I prefer it to bats even. Never a big fan of the bat anyways.

All this talk of DH sucking at higher levels in concerning. I love mine at 16 but am now wondering if I should go back to my monk

Monk is great from 1-60, so yeah

Surprisingly, the final boss on nightmare was just about the only elite or boss that didn't manage to kill me at least once. Monks are just about immortal as long as they don't get crowd-controlled or one-shot, and that fight doesn't have anything that nasty.

Act 1 Hell is fairly unpleasant, but finally giving in and gearing for vitality took most of the edge off. 2k dps isn't dropping anything fast, but I don't get dropped much either. The Skeleton King was still weak enough that I could just stand there and eat whatever he threw out.

lv45 DH. I played a bit with new skill/runes and found out elemental arrow with fear is very powerful... 10 hatred for 155% damage + cc not bad !

How do I get +DMG? Do I craft them with the BS? Or just luck with dropped loot?
How are lvl50-60 barbs playing? 1H? 2H? What's better?
Thanks man

Opened tp, returned to town and saved. When I loaded the game the portal was gone, my char at some random wp and I lost the last quest. Think I'm done for a while, When I'm not getting killed by lag I'm randomly losing chars and progress. And the AH is a fucking broken mess, search times out pretty much every single time.

Still think it's assy in later levels, it's inconsistent hitbox (it's only 200% damage if those things actually HIT the enemy) is it's downfall. Something more consistant like elemental arrow is better if you're looking for aoe damage.

Liking overpentration impale a lot better. 250% damage, targetable, hits multiple enemies.

Finished my first run today. Doing DH at lvl 33 atm. Currently at 594dps,

The game is so good. Plan on starting at a harder difficulty later today/tomorrow.

I use Diamond Skin. I know eventually it'll bite me in the ass, but melee is still so fun right now early on. Diamond Skin, Spectral Blade, Arcane Orb, awesome.

What do you mean saved? The game starts you off at the last checkpoint.

Personally frost nova.. but I play ranged dps. Also being able to freeze a boss at key moments is pretty awesome.

MELEE WIZARDS UNITE!

Started a Wizard a couple games ago for groups with my two friends from North Carolina. They had a Wizard and Witch Doctor already so I'm all like, "welp, 3 INT classes I see no way this could possibly go wrong". Then I unlocked Spectral Blade or something sometime around level 10, looked at Frost Nova and Diamond Skin, and had a revelation:

Melee Wizard. (build is lvl 19)

Got gear for Life+ on hit and kill as well as some regen, and almost as much VIT as INT so I am not too squishy. I switched my character up so I'm mostly running solo and moved the monk over to group content. I'm loving this build so far and I want to see how far I can take it.

Any tips GAF?

Diamond skin is pretty op. There doesn't seem to be much reason not to use it at this point.

Diamond Skin is so good. I'm thinking of taking as much cooldown reduction as possible just so I can keep it active. With the duration a max of 8 seconds with rune and with 15% cooldown reduction you could be in diamond skin 8 out of 13.5 seconds...

Of course reduced Frost Nova cooldown is a lifesaver too.

Just beat act 1 on nightmare. I am a level 38 barb. Damn the difficulty really went up after normal, which is AWESOME. Love the challenge, love the game!

The one shitty thing is that as a barb, we take a lot of damage since we get up close and personal. When I am not playing with friends, I was using a templar, hoping he would heal me, but he never really did. I love the scoundrel though, hes hilarious and he does a good amount of supporting damage after I equiped him with a lot of dexterity equipment.

Also, my friends and I have been using skype to talk during gameplay, which actually works great! I was worried going in, but skype really is great for voice chat with friends in game.

Anyone have any good ideas for skill sets for a barb, I like my current setup, but am curious what other people are doing.
