There's three separate achievements for this too. Each follower has around 15 dialogues to listen to. Go to town and check them after every quest, they'll have a blue asterisk above them, although quite a bit they don't have the asterisk and still have new choices.
The enchantress and scoundrel backstories are great, but I thought the templar's was kinda meh.
Also, all the NPCs in the third act town have dialogue chains as well. Some good little stories that have conclusions.
If people rush through this game you'll miss out on a lot of story. That's why I can't take anyone who says "worst story ever" seriously because it's just not true.

Is this guy serious? I have him on ignore due to every single one of his posts in this thread having some sort of spoiler in it, and now just clicked "view post" for the hell of it and he has a screen of that level? Are you purposefully this dense or is this an elaborate troll? Luckily the quoting of the image makes it small so I scrolled past it fast but I still saw it.

My lag is always completely random. Awkwardly, it was really good the first couple nights, ~40-50ms, now sometimes it's 40-50, sometimes its 300-500.

I don't feel it that much, though? Like occasionally there's a a few smidges of ability lag, but nothing feels along the lines of 300-500+ MS. I used to play WoW with that back in vanilla when my old ISP was such shit and god was it horrible.

My Monk on Hardcore is now level 13. It still hasn't gotten really hard yet, but I'm starting to dread every time I play with him like I'm playing Russian roulette.

Low textures? High works well on all but the lowest end of the playable spectrum. Low textures are just godawful. I'd set it too high even if you have to have everything else on low if you can.

I just started a new play-through with a wizard since my friend wanted to play with me, after playing a lot with the Monk it's gonna take a while to get used to the wizard :/

Only lvl 12 btw so she's not good now, I wish my friend didn't pick a DH though since we're running the game without a melee character which sucks..

I don't know much about Wizards, but your two best bets for increasing DPS is stacking INT gear, putting topaz into more non-helm/weapon gear, and stacking + Damage stats.
INT gear shouldn't be that hard to find in-game.
That's what I love about it. There's normal for most folks, and then Nightmare and Hell is where you dig in and stop playing like a clickclickclick idiot.
I've learned so much about the Monk playing Nightmare. Boss fights are so much more rewarding, and you really feel like when you survive, it wasn't because you're a god. It's because you stacked the right gear, and played well.

BTW I don't know how to get a higher DPS... I have over 120k Gold, but there isn't anything better on the AH going on.
Wait, orbs are really the "weapons" for wizards?
This could seriously swing me to buy this game right this instant. Ever since I wanted to start playing DnD as a teen I wanted to have orbs as a way to enhance spell casting as a wizard.
Is this what is going on here?!

Orbs are off-hand wizard gear that exist to accentuate INT and spells in general.
So...yeah. Totally.
orbs are actually my "shield", and yes, I got that amazing orb that gives sick amounts of int (hence enhancing my spells)
now go buy D3!

What's your "weapon" then? what does it provide?
I was turned off when i used the witch doctor in the beta, and he was holding a spear, but always just used his blowgun.
Im looking forward to having the gear available to try diffferent build types with all the different ways you can spec your char and all the different types of stats on gear. I have this spec I want to try on my barb where you hit so fast with frenzy and +attack speed gear that you gain fury at such a rate that wrath of the berserker runed with thrive on chaos never runs out. There's just so much room for experimentation, it's gonna be alot of fun.

My Monk at 41. Got a ton of good drops tonight. First time in a long time I've been able to use my own drops.
That's probably the most complained about boss. It's cheap, it's long, and it's aggravating. I know your pain (I dread doing it on hell/inferno)

You can use his spear if you want. You just have to turn on Elective mode and leave the slot you want t use the weapon with empty.
Frankly however, most of the abilities are way cooler than weapons. Why swing a spear when you can throw jars of spiders or unleash a swarm of fire bats and zombie dogs?
weapons are wands, daggers or in this case a big ass mace. Provides a lot of INT and DPS
