I remember loving it then, and I still love it now. I wonder if you still have the unprocessed photo though, for comparison's sake. And I don't say this enough, but I love having you on FB. Your photographs never ceases to impress me. So keep'em coming.

Thanks, Jin! Here's the unmanipulated photo...

I always shoot in RAW mode (basically a non compressed sensor dump of the image that has a very high editing latitude). One of the reasons why the image straight out of the camera looks very neutral in regards to contrast.

AMAZING! Seriously!

If the photographs are like these two examples, he should make those posts public. It would be a nice reason to actually log in to Facebook more often.

Thanks! Here's the link to my FB. I've been uploading all my photographs at wallpaper size and made the folder public so check em' out if you want! Looking at them in full screen mode brings up the larger size photos.

Hi, working in the library finishing a paper.

EDIT: @ Melchah that looks like it hurts :X how'd you get those scars?

Melchiah is one of the people I'm most in awe of on GAF. He's totally hardcore and not at all ashamed of it, and I think that's pretty awesome.

That's dumb as fuck, why would you want something that stupid scarred on the middle of your chest for the rest of your life? I'd think differently if it was something cool, but you just look like a try hard idiot
Woooo the omega sign. It was the only brand they had left at the idiot shop

:lol

What he does with his life isn't really your problem.

That'd be the most insane metal show ever, seeing the lead singer brand himself on stage and all that.

It couldn't possibly have any meaning to his lifestyle, career or passion. You're right, why does anyone do anything that you don't find meaningful?

Is me making a comment any different than you? My opinion really isn't your problem, now is it?

Yes, you're being overly hostile. Keep on it and I wouldn't be surprised if you get banned.

For what it's worth, I think it's pretty stupid too, doesn't mean I think he is an idiot though, just something I wouldn't do or can imagine any normal person doing... but then again, what is 'normal'. :p

Looks good, actually. Did you use anesthetic?

Hell no. =)

Melchiah, that looks so painful. :( I hope it didn't hurt too much!

Actually it wasn't that painful, which might be because I've had a plenty of experience before, but the worst part was the waiting for the moment when it happens.

BTW, it smelled like burning hair.

From past performances.

I hope it did cause I am pretty sure he enjoyed it.
Am I right, Melchiah?

Partly. ;) Nothing worthwhile can be accomplished without a little bit of pain.

Well, it's not like there weren't symbols on my skin before. I did my first in 1992, and I've never regretted them. Some do tattoos, I do scars.

As for the symbol, we've used the Omega sign with my band for 13 years, the branding irons were made by a friend of mine, and the branding itself was in a some way an appropriate way to celebrate my birthday.
