I've been using Hydra for a while now and I like it. I'll try Magic Weapon when the servers are officially up (and playable).

Whoa, NA servers have an 8 hour maintenance. Thankfully they did it through the wee hours of the night, but dang. Hopefully that fixes some latency issues.

I wonder what do they do in server maintenance time. Clear cache? Apply server binary patches?

yup servers are technically down from 1am pst to 9 am pst, there's a note confirming it when you login. I tried to play anyway and lost 3 rares after a dc :/

Hopefully fix the lag spikes. I know it doesn't affect everyone but it REALLY sucks for those that it does.
For you... Japan doesn't have it's own server so we have to connect to something else. By default it's United States and that's where I've been playing all the time and where I have my main character.
Right now in Japan it's 9pm, and when I arrived home from work at 7pm it was already down, and it will continue like this until 1am. So yeah, the whole day for me is over when it comes to Diablo

i wish we could check the auction house online without the game loaded. I have a ton of stuff to sell but have already maxed out my 10 auctions. I mostly just selling all my loot that with stats i dont need for around 2-5k hoping level 20sih people see something they could use and dropping some low cash for it
That is what I have been doing. I always sell stuff for low, as I don't really care about the big bucks just yet. I find It better to atleast have some guarentted trickle of income than none at all.

So is hell difficult for everyone? I'm in act 1 and can solo most groups minus a few elite mobs, but it seems like they take a ton of hits to down? I'm going to get my WD to lvl 60 but might reroll after that. Thinking a Barb, Wizard, or DH but I heard melee classes also have a hard time late game.
That sucks - It's happened to me a couple of times. This game could be so good if it were not for the always online BS.

Yeah. I've seen countless yellows for 1 million and up. They drop like candy in Nightmare, and I'm only in Act 1.
You can find some decent prices if you search based on stats/max buyout price. Also if you are not in hell yet you get a ton of gold. Seriously some stacks contain 400-500 gold per.
You can sort it and find the bestes armor or dps with lowest buyout prices - just click the arrorow on the right.
But I am doing Devils Advocate now - my new characters will be tweaked without AH and just from the loot whoring MF grinding

Same here. I really don't want to complain, but blizz are making Dice look like the fucking kings of stability compared to this rubbish. For those of us with limited time, Diablo 3 is turning out to be more trouble than it's worth.
Anyone know if Torchlight 2 is planning always online single player?>

But in hell you get money REALLY quick and a lot of it. AH pretty much makes crafting irrelevant in hell IMO. I'd rather spend money and get something with the stats I need rather than hope for something good. I only started using the AH in hell but it's worth it IMO

like i bought a double socketed chest piece for my 22 monk with 30dex 20str some other stuff i think 7% magic find. Cant wait to drop some square emeralds in there and have 60dex boost my armor and dmg.
only paid 9k for it. I would have jumped up and down if i got that loot in my own game.
I am think my next buy will be a weapon i only have a fist with 24dps when i saw a socketed ruby stats i was like shit i need to find socketed weapon i can use.

Who else fells that Legendary items are complete crap and utterly worthless. There is not a single Legendary that isn't outclassed by blues at any level requirement. I mean it's really sad. I totally agree, that a perfectly rolled RARE (not blue) should outclass a Legendary at the same level requirement. However, when you can buy shit from Vendors that out damage the best Legendary weapons in the game? WTF.... They need to rework the Legendary and Set items ASAP. I know we have yet to see all the Legendaries in the game...but so far they seem totally worthless.

I liked Diablo 2 LOD better than the base game because of all the cool unique items that were added. It gave you something to look for when doing mf runs besides just hoping a random rare dropped that had perfectly rolled stats. So far Diablo 3 is kind of disappointing in that regard, but if you look at the game guide on battle.net there are some really nice high level legendary items to be found. Took me a while to realize they were all cataloged on battle.net.
Ive got a level 34 or so monk. Ive been stacking him with dex, and high dps socketed weapons with %based life steal on them. Then I turn and socket gems that grant hp per hit. And the rest of my gear I try and stack dex/vit/hp per hit (if available). Makes it so fun. I skill for any sort of tanking abilities and just run ahead of the group tanking everything. Life stealing and the spirit spent/healing gear/abilities keep me topped off. Its a nice change of pace from my Demon Hunter.
Im sure later on here in nightmare I wont be able to manage that on my Monk. But its still working well in early early nightmare.

I haven't gotten any Legendary Weapons yet, but can you break them down though the blacksmith?
It would be cool if there are some secret recipes for Legendary weapons, that require very rare materials from that only come from breaking down Legendary weapons.

It is. I understand their reasoning but it is getting kinda old. Personally, it doesn't bother me a single bit as I think Diablo is kinda boring if you play it by yourself. I've probably played about two hours of D3 on my own.
