It's part of this reality where MSFT pays for advertising.
So either (1) no one's going to believe that it's actually a better browser and laugh it out, or (2) they'll think it's part of the whole evil corporate trolling by the evil corporation?

Alien 3 isn't good.
But Alien: Resurrection is just on a whole other level of bad.
Really wretched stuff.
Kind of off base but did anyone enjoy Predators?

Dude this is Ridley Scott doing Sci-Fi in 3D. It will be good.

So IMAX 3D Experience is the way to go right? Not just regular 3D.
Unless I'm mistaken, it wasn't shot in IMAX so (imo) there's no real reason to see it in IMAX 3D. Save a couple bucks and go for regular 3D instead.
Yeah a little. But this movie is still a pretty amazing testament to practical effects. If you ever watch the making of, they explain that everything (except for a few miniature shots) was shot directly on film with no green screen, composting effects or after effects clean up.
Instead of using green screen, Cameron actually used rear projection so the actors could see what was going on behind them (he later re-used this effect in T2-3D the ride). Also, they never did go back and remove any of the puppet rods or strings after filming. That was all hidden during filming. Everything was filmed exactly how you saw it.
The Power Lifter vs Queen sequence was quite a special effects feat.
Why did they use rear projection instead of front projection?
I'm guessing front projection would have been like standing in front of a projector- so the actors would cast shadows on the screen?
Then I don't know. Would front projection have increased the illusion of depth for those shots? That's really my only issue with them.

Predators was alright yeah. It was well made and acted.
I do hope for another Predator film. Didn't Arnie get offered to participate in the next one? Dunno who will make it though. :\
Shut up cock nose.
Stop stalking me paedophile
Predators was decent, but it felt unfocused.
I enjoyed Predator 2 way more. Not sure why no one likes that film but me.
Danny Glover was awesome.

I remember predator 2 being cheese as hell, but somehow enjoyable, I could never watch the first one, for me it was Commando remade with a weird creature, I now is probably not like that but Arnold only works as a robotic enemy, because thats the extend of his acting abilities, I avoid any movie where he is not a robot enemy.
They don't hold a candle to Alien though, and I really, really like Alien 3, and I can't understand any of its criticisms except from the aliens fans that wanted a direct sequel to that. Most critics boil down to "they kill Hicks and newt!". I've never heard or read someone with a decent argument about how the movie as a movie itself is bad. The acting was fine, the special effects were fine too with maybe some small exceptions (and you could say the same for Aliens anyway, sometimes the creature looked goofy), it was really bleak, dark picture, but that was kind of the point, it gave a nice closure to the series, this creature was relentless, and the only way to make it go down was that way.
I'm an idiot, what the hell is LieMax? I've been wondering for the past 2 years and never asked.
IMAX refers to the premium cinemas that feature far higher resolution projectors and far larger screens than normal cinemas. Going to IMAX cinemas is the prime way to see films. However, IMAX is also a brand. They're the company that make IMAX cinemas. They also make regular cinemas that are not of the same quality as IMAX cinemas, but they slap the IMAX brand over the top of them anyway. It's a really shady thing to do and the result is many people going to see films at these "IMAX" cinemas only to discover they aren't anywhere near the quality of real IMAX cinemas. These IMAX-branded, but not IMAX-quality cinemas are colloquially referred to as 'Lie-Max' cinemas.
The LieMax cinemas do, however, as far as I'm aware, feature better projectors than normal cinemas. So in terms of picture quality, resolution, you could rank them from worst to best as follows:
- Regular cinema
- LieMax cinema
- Real IMAX cinema
As is written here, Prometheus wasn't shot on IMAX, so there'd be little reason to go see it at a real IMAX cinema. That's why the argument has been made that the best way to see it would be at the next level down - the LieMax screens.
Don't forget sound --- sound in LieMAX is far above that of your regular theater and pretty much on par with IMAX.IMAX refers to the premium cinemas that feature far higher resolution projectors and far larger screens than normal cinemas. LieMAX's are usually attached to theater chains; if the IMAX you're going to is a standalone theater than it's most likely a real one.How do you know which is a LieMax and which is a real IMAX? I've never seen a feature film in IMAX, I dunno. Maybe I'll just go to a regular theater.
Predators was enjoyable up until that moment where a character decides to randomly turn into a serial killer. Awful 'twist'.
Is that the case with both LieMAX and IMAX?The 3D effect with IMAX has a more out of the screen experience while RealD 3D is more contained in the screen with perhaps a better sense of depth (foreground, middle, background).

Hmm, I also have the option of seeing this in a sort of LieMAX knockoff that uses RealD 3D..Not sure since both IMAX screens closest to me are real IMAX. There is UltraAVX screens around here which are bigger than the average theater screen and also has better sound. It uses RealD 3D.

Maybe I should check that out if RealD is better than IMAX 3D.
I decided to watch Alien Resurrection again for some reason... this is like cartoon Alien.

Wasn't a huge fan of Aliens, but that was an awesome shot.
