I never got why people spoil movies for themselves before they see them. I understand spoiling yourself for crap like GI Joe, Battleship, Dark Shadows etc. but why movies Prometheus and Dark Knight Rises?
Movies of quality like that come along once in a while so spoiling yourself seems just plain dumb.

Prometheus thread probably has genuine spoilers, but I don't believe a damn thing posted in the TDKR thread asides from what's quoted directly from Nolan or pulled from trailers. So I'm good.

WILL THE REAL OT THREAD PLEASE STAND UP!? THIS IS A FRAUD!

The leaks from that have been laughable at best. I understand not wanting to get spoiled, but that "leak" hasnt produced anything new yet.
I dont know, you havent seen the movie yet have you?

The first reviews have been hitting and so I bailed out because I don't want to know absolutely anything more than I already do. Lots of spoiler tags in there and impressions that I don't care to paint my experience.
I see, its just a matter of one guy to screw up the spoiler tags like that guy in the Avengers thread that was too tired ..

Yes, they're worth going on a media blackout.

They said this place wouldn't last......who's laughing now?! Taste of your own medicine, DM?

The spoilers are about nothing. the cartoons reveal almost nothing, I was joking when I said someone was dying. But whatever, guess people are more superstitious than I thought.

B&R had Batman fighting Mr. Freeze and the Hockey team from hell in a museum, ice skating and fighting at the same time, then Mr. Freeze tries to escape in a big rocket, then batman gets trapped in the rocket and then they blow it up while perusing a flying Mr. Freeze on the way down, he gets away as he freezes Robin.

Now THATS a start of a movie, let's see how TDKR fares in it's first act.

Me neither. I love following the production, keeping up on set reports, or casting. Set photos even. But I'll never understand knowing the exact plot going into the movie.

I guess to some its similar to reading the book a movie is based off of.
