Spike TV's talent roster for the sixth annual "Guys Choice" (#GuysChoice) is filled with some of the industry's biggest names. This one night only event has become the place for luminaries from all over the entertainment landscape to gather in order to honor the year's most "man-tastic" achievements. The 2012 "Guys Choice" Awards tapes tomorrow, Saturday, June 2 at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA, and premieres next Saturday, June 9 at 9:00 PM, ET/PT on Spike TV.
Spike TV announced today that Academy Award(R)-winning star Christian Bale and uber-talented director Christopher Nolan will be on hand to accept the "Most Manticipated" award for their upcoming blockbuster, "The Dark Knight Rises." The film marks the epic conclusion to Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy.
Ted isn't out.....and what? everything only has two categories....
Clearly this is a prestigious award show.
do we know yet if Batman got a new tumbler himself?Fuck the batpod. I just want lots of tumbler action.
Word, Batman went all welter-weight in TDK. Begins Batman would eat you alive. That's who I wanna see up against Bane for the last time.
If Nolan was really serious, he would have pulled a reverse Raging Bull situation with Bale and made him start out all pudgy and weak and then stopped shooting for nine months so Bale could get into Begins form for the post-training scenes.
GUESS NOLAN'S HEART JUST AINT IN IT.
That's actually what they did, except Bale did it in 2 weeks. This ain't the 80s, we got science and shit now.
Did they actually stop production for Bale to get in shape? Or was it some break in the production schedule since they were changing countries or something like that?

Due to his part in The Machinist (aka The Machinist), Christian Bale was vastly underweight (about 120 pounds on his 6 foot+ frame) when he was under consideration for the part. After being cast, he was told to become as "big as you could be" by Christopher Nolan. Bale underwent a dietary and exercise regimen and ending up weighing about 220 pounds (about 40 pounds above his normal weight). It was decided that Bale had became too large (friends of his on the film's crew dubbed him "Fatman") and he quickly shed about 20 pounds to have leaner, more muscular frame.
They locked Bale in the gym for 2 weeks with the finest steroids and personal trainers money can buy.
Like I said, Bale is a machine.
Locked him in a gym and battoned down the hatches.I think he just has a really adaptable body.
It's a shame Bale went through all this and then Hardy just took venom. Cheating if you ask me.
saw that on demand the other day, never noticed how big a transformation it was for him into Baneuntil then.
look at dat hipster scarf.
The Dark Knight Rises One Night Only: The exclusive clip of The Dark Knight Rises will only be shown on MTV and will not be available online after the show -- legally, at least. Tune-in on Sunday or youll miss it!
