So my friend told me today that the PSNation podcast put word out that if you don't have ps+, you should get it before Monday. I can't listen to it right now to hear exactly what was said, but that sounds to me like some kind of reward for existing members.

Any ideas what this could be? I don't have ps+ but I'm mulling it over now. I'd hate to drop $20 on it only to find out all it got me was digital copies of games I already have/played or whatever.

The source of this rumor is actually SCEE, whose officials have none too subtley been telling everyone to sign up for Playstation Plus before E3, even if they only do 3+ months.

Sure, if you both have the same PSN account.

Edit: Then again you could always just buy the plus subscription on your PSN account. She could still access it on hers and you wouldn't have any issues getting the content on your Vita.

Account based. You can use that account on whatever hardware you did like to, and the content will be there.

I just reupped today (because of the rumors) after being gone from the service for several months and I immediately made my money back on games I was going to get anyway. Not bad.
