Just jumped in with a year pass for the first time. Now I have more games I feel obligated to play yet have no time for.
Doesn't fit with the "even if it's just three months" thing, unless there's no price rise for established members ever.

My Plus subscription doesn't run out until August, but I just purchased another year in preparation. I've loved the service so far, so no worries.
Kind of where I am at. I almost bit last night, but held off.
I wanted Trine 2, I would hold off if the 3 free games this month don't interest you. I highly doubt Sony will announce a price hike during E3. There might be some kind of token gift for currrent PS+ members but I dount that also

Urgh. Like I said on the previous page, I think people are being a bit ridiculous if they are literally buying into the hype. I think Plus is a great service, and I'd recommend it to everyone -- but if people are just buying it because of these Tweets, they are setting themselves up for disappointment.

Not counting the freebies, I've paid for my subscriptions since Plus started just off game discounts. I've got my gripes with Sony but they've done right by Plus so far. It's good stuff.

I swear to god if I had extra money, I would cover like 10+ of you and buy you PSN+ 3 month plans just to let you see what the fuss is all about
I bought it Day 1, the first year were the most god awful experience I had with a service, but near the end, they kicked into overdrive, and I haven't looked back
If you are sitting there pondering @$18 for 3 months, that is roughly $6/month
XBL is $3-5/month
You have the added benefit of joining today and getting roughly $35+ worth of stuff to play through
Then some games from the backlog are still active (I think) that you can DL (Sega Games/DLC)
I know with PS+, I've saved at least $500 in buying/playing stuff, no joke
It isn't a huge risk
If you are VITA only, yeah I say probably wait & see
If you are both PS3 & VITA, it's not a bad deal
You don't have to get the $50/year package
Also you are cheating the system a little due to getting May content, then have 90 days for June, July, August (maybe)
I've paid $100 for 2 year sub, then got +6 months bonus (PSN+ Birthday package +3 months on 1 year package)
The PSNpocalypse added close to 2 months and 14 days
Friends gave me their 1 month code when they bought PS3's

my understanding has always been that the "free" games arent really free and more like a rental . because as soon as your 3 months ends and you dont renew. you cant play any of those games you got for free any longer.

Games you purchase with a discount are yours to keep though.

Yeah, I'd be the first to recommend this service...i have downloaded so much stuff that sometimes i skip out on some games even though i have the disc space...there is just so much stuff to keep up wth sometimes imo.
But if yall are just getting that 3 month stuff because of the tweet....and were not interested in the first place? Then you will most likely not be satisfied no matter what the announcement is.... i have a feeling there will be some people here bitching just to bitch come Monday.
Worst case scenario, you get a bucket full of free games to 'rent' for 90 days for 18 bucks, with a chance at something amazeballs being announced on Monday and being a part of it. If you have 18 bucks do it for what's been offered, not for a promise of the future, because what's been offered is an insane value for your money.

Bought a 3 month, hope they have something good tomorrow.
The CS guy was very nice, he'd have to escalate it to the network team, it would only be a one time courtesy, etc.

My issue is if they have a sale for the normies, but they have it free for Plus, I won't be able to go for that sale. I've heard people have had issues with this.

If you buy one of the big direct download games (Infamous 2, MK, etc) with your discount the 3 month basically pays for itself.
Also, awesomenauts is free this month, and a hell of a lot of fun.

Battle Fantasia is pretty decent too, although fatal inertia isn't worth the space on your hard drive
they're only free while you still have a subscription
anything you buy with the discount is yours to keep though
