Liked the first game because of the art style but holy hell I hope they got some new animators, and new combat coordinator, and a new a lot of things...game was the definition of Euro jank

Never played the first one. It was missing.. a lot of polish, and I'm sucker for polished games.
The sound effects sounded like they came out straight from the 90s. :/

Polish? I can see why the gameplay might not have been to everyone's liking, but the game felt like a big budget production even though it was coming from a small studio in Chile. As ill-defined a concept as polish is on a game, I'd still say Zeno Clash had it.

Judging by the trailer they didn't.

Frankly, I can deal with all the "unpolished" gameplay in the world, but the originally was physically draining for me. The pacing just didn't feel right, and between the sound effects, the way the camera reacted to hits and the speed of combat in general.. I don't know, it rarely happens to me that a game literally tires me, but Zeno Clash did that. I still soldiered on because it was short and the setting was amazing, but I doubt I'm going to grab the sequel.

I loved the last game. I'm excited to see them follow through with their plans for a more open-ended game. I hope they also include inventory space, and more weapons and different armor types as well.

They crafted a beautiful, yet strange world in the last game - and an open world game is just what a world like this deserves.

- This time the game will be more open world.
- The game will have co-op (you can play as Ghat or his sister).
- Damage may vary according to where you hit your enemies.
- New movements and they changed the lock on system to make it easier.
- The game is going to be longer than the first.
- Digital only (we already knew this).
