I thought E3 banned Booth Babes™?

I know even that was kind of like a soft ban or something trying to get them to wear more clothing, but looking around flickr for E3 photos - did the rules change or do they just not care anymore?

I guess none are super lewd or anything so it's fine, but it should still be banned because of how dumb the concept is. At least cosplay or something. How import car show does E3 need to be?

I'm just mad the Project Diva section of Sega didn't have hologram booth babes

No but seriously, they at least seem to be wearing more than they used to. Which is fine.
 
PAX is the one that banned Booth Babes (sort of - they apparently can still be on the floor if they are covered up or something).
 
There were plenty last year. I don't know about this year, but it wasn't hard to find hot women demoing something they didn't really know about.

If I recall correctly, 95% of the demoers at the Nintendo booth were babes.

They were really flirty, too. It was fun.

I almost want to write that the Hooters girls wear more. Does Nos have that one door greeter type girl, the one that has the whole Kristin Bell look going on to make up for the lack of the cleavage?

edit: Oh wait, it's Namco and Tekken. Same question, different target.
 
They banned booth babes some E3 ago when they turned E3 to shit and stuck the convention into an airplane bunker or something.

After they reopened E3 to the public, it's all back.
 
one year E3 decided to strip all the pomp and circumstance completely from the show.

nobody liked it.

now its basically the same way it used to be.

If you google it there's stuff about them being banned at E3 in 2006 I think.

Persona 4 booth babes but not in cosplay? ORRRRRR are they actually staff members of Atlus and I'm digging a huge hole here

For the price of those booth babes, you could get a really good cosplay going instead. Something that might actually be interesting instead of the same shit that everyone else is doing that has nothing to do with the game.
 
Don't you guys remember? Reggie summoned the Booth Babes back from beyond when they first announced the 3DS.

Nintendo always hires models. They do the same for TGS. If you want to know any real information about Nintendo games, look for the normal looking folks with Nintendo badges.
 
What defines a "booth babe"?

If she is attractive but does not know about the product, then is she a booth babe?

If she is attractive and DOES know the product, then is she a booth babe?

What about if she is dressed in jeans in a t-shirt rather than a mini skirt and heels? Is there a minimum number of inches above the knee a skirt must reach before it is booth babe material? What about bare midriffs?

Look at it this way. Look at those girls in the picture. Would you ever see anyone dressed like that who wasn't paid to do it? Maybe in a club. MAYBE.

Like the lady who hosted the Shootmania thing was very attractive, but she wasn't dressed in booty shorts.
 
But seriously, at some point they were about to prevent anything from existing on the show floor. It almost killed E3. After that people wanted E3 back to its former glory and that's what happened. I think it's good like that.

They should just have cosplay burlesque shows with models and strippers next year instead of conferences.

It would be higher quality than the garbage we were given this year.
