I noticed yesterday that in the lounge on the floor of my dorm right above me, there's both the millennium falcon and jabba's barge sitting out on display. nice, and a jarring reminder of how no one here fears theft at all.
Where do you live? Funny you should say that, at the building where I work we just had two bikes stolen yesterday. EXPENSIVE bikes, too. Fuckin' thieves, man.

Dangit. I wish Amazon would start carrying the Monster Fighters sets. TRU has their LEGO tax, Target has shipping and regular tax, and Wal-Mart doesn't have them yet... I have a return credit at Wal-Mart that I wouldn't mind using, but I'd definitely preferto go with Amazon. Grumblegrumble...

I understand completely. I bit on the Toys R Us tax for the Werewolf just to get the figure. But the other sets are the backburner until the Haunted House hits. That looks amazing.

LEGO S@H has it listed for August 1. CAN'T WAIT. Gonna need to MOC some additional graves and crypts for it, though. And I was lucky enough to work a trade with wetwired for one of the Series 1 Zombie figs!! So awesome! I had ZERO interest in the Monster Fighters line just a month before it came out. LEGO did an amazing job with the theme, in my humble opinion.

Is there a RRP for the Haunted House in AUD yet? My usual guys have it listed for 299.95AUD, but when it actually goes on sale, I'm guessing it'll be more around 250AUD. I dunno. I think it looks very nice, but a bit sparse somehow.
The Imperial Shuttle from Target came in today. Not even 15 pages in and I find out that i'm missing a tan gear for the wings (I think). Searched for quite a while because I do not want to wait even longer to build this but nothing turned up. Ordered a replacement and plan on seeing what I can build without it for now but seeing as how it's a pretty big component inside the body of the shuttle that whole section will have to be leaved alone.

You can skip ahead and build the fins, but I would not continue the body, it's tough to get back into.

It is not going to work without that freaky tan gear. That is vitally important to the mechanics of the Shuttle. Sorry it is missing.
Thankfully, it shows up in a few cheaper sets, like this:

Best suggestion. Skip ahead, build all the fins and maybe even the cockpit. But you cannot go back and add the gear into the body later, as it is really sealed up.

I did not modify the interior to my Cafe MOC tonight, but I did build many of the details I plan on just snapping in once I close off the second floor:
Built a series of couches and comfy chairs for cafe patrons to use on the second floor.

Trying to figure out what else I may have room for on the first floor after soda machine. Dunno if I will have room for a coffee airpot for refills. If not, just a trash can and maybe condiment bar.
Once I make a solid base for the second floor, I think all the chairs and couches I made should be more than enough.

I know the town hall was more reasonably priced compared to previous modulars so hopefully it'll be $250, I can handle that, though I need that ghost\clock polybag to go with it

So...I've been considering trying to part out some UCS kits, specifically the Snowspeeder and X-Wing. Anyone else ever do this? It must be cheaper than actually buying the sets, but I'm wondering if it's still a bit too pricey.

I was gonna get it for dat Vita, but I read they're not porting the console version but making it a level-based game, similar to the DS and 3DS versions.

Speaking of stickers; are we able to get replacement sticker sheets from Lego customer service? The x-wing I built last week only had 3 of 4 engine stickers on the sheet. I looked in the box and every page of the manual. No missing sticker anywhere.
I realize talking about Mega Bloks in the LEGO thread is blasphemous but as a Blizzard/Warcraft fan and a LEGO fan these sets really excite me:

I hope they have taken some feedback to heart and gone the distance to make these much better qualityI'm still getting the Vita version. I got it for $19 so if it's really THAT bad I'll deal with it. It will have achievements so that's a bonus. Still going to get it on PC as well so I can experience the open world aspect

It's cool. I want the Transformer minifigs and I do look at those Halo sets sometimes and contemplate it but have never actually bitten.
