This is going to really mess up android market share sheesh.

They will take the biggest hit from this.

How did they innovate? Hybrids is what Win 8 has been all about for some time now. That was the future of PCs. Microsoft just did great execution on that concept and is pushing that in the forefront as their message of how other people should be doing it too. People, including me, have been saying this for the last year.

3mm cover that's also a multitouch keyboard with a trackpad, that's an innovation surely? That's an apple level idea.

Just look at how premium they make the device sound.. first time materials, premium build, premium finishing, innovation etc. An ultrabook with the se specs is around 1100 dollars, this is a tablet so definantly more than that.

Doesn't matter how premium it sounds, at that price point, why even bother selling it? No on will buy it.

This is making me more excited and intrigued about what they might have in store for the next Xbox.

If they can make the tablet that thin and not overheat like Xbox did, then yes ill be very curious too. But i have a feeling they will price this exactly like Apple ipads which would be a huge mistake.

Depending on the price... Android tablets are pretty much done with the release of this, right?
Hopefully, since they're all shit so far.

Microsoft won't be able to topple Apple with this though, but it does look cool.

Speaking of Apple I'm glad a (probably similar) stylus is rumoured, since that'll be great for art.

Touch cover has an accelerometer built in, so it knows when its folded back and it will deactivate the keyboard.

Looks good but already have the ipad and bought many ipad apps. I don't see anything here that would totally sway me. Makes me think what Google will plan to show with their own branded tablet.

You people and these prices lol, they're definitely going to be in-line with an iPad.

For the low end version, maybe. The Pro will be more in line with a MacBook Air. These things are aiming directly at the Android/Netbook market. I don't think they'll have an affect on iPad's dominance.
