Re-upped my Amazon Prime. The price difference between Amazon and B&M for books is absurd.

Figured I would re-read the Knightfall story for the hell of it. Haven't read it since I was a kid. Either $60 at the store or $22 ($32 normally) on Amazon using my rewards. Sucks because I like supporting my local shops, just don't have that kind of money to spend on this crap.
I just reread it last week. I still really enjoyed it. I actually felt exhausted reading everything happening to batman. I thought that was pretty cool.

Are there any other good comics with Bane in it? Knightfall is the only one I know of.

In our exclusive interview with The Dark Knight Rises producer Emma Thomas in SFX #224, on sale 27 June, she states that director Christopher Nolan could never be persuaded to return to Batman.

“No. Never,” she replies emphatically when asked.

Is that never or is that never say never again, SFX persists?

“No, that’s truly a never. I cannot imagine a world in which he would ever want to come back.
At a certain point it’s fun to go off and do something different, you know. We’ve spent almost 10 years of our lives making Batman films. He was very excited about this film, and the story that he’d come up with, but I just cannot imagine that he would get that excited about another version of the same thing. The great thing about a trilogy is that it feels like you’ve got a beginning, a middle and an end. It’s like an extended version of a regular film. Once you get into a fourth film then it’s just episodic, and I just can’t see him getting excited about making another film where basically you’re just wheeling in different villains.”

So you're telling me there's a chance?

So I just checked out from my local library The Dark Knight Returns, The Dark Knight Strikes Again, and Batman: Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader?

How hype should I be to read these? I know TDKR(eturns) and TDKSA are very critically acclaimed, but I've never heard of WHttCC. It's Gaiman though, so I'm assuming it's ace

To be honest, not really. Bane was one of those characters who never found his place in the entire Batman universe. There was a story arc with him and Ra's Al Ghul which wasn't too bad I recall.

If you are looking for something recent, he is in the new relaunch of The Dark Knight: Vol. 2. I haven't read it yet.

Actually meant in another movie or television show. That's going to sit on my brain till I figure it out.

Ah, I remember it now, he was one of the main bad guys in No Ordinary Family.
