I was reading through last year's EVO thread yesterday, remembering how much fun it was (and admittedly getting a little hype).

It hasn't been 2 days since the last Marvel tournament of people sitting down in the labs and already tech has started to pour out.
A Trish post-TAC infinite was discovered. It basically re-writes the rules of TACs as we know it. The Japanese want this infinite banned which I find hilarious.
Someone discovered a TAC glitch with Doom that allows him to TAC into himself. And it's not Doom specific, other characters can do it too you just have to be low enough to the ground.
Chou has some hidden tech up his sleeve.
Yipes has some hidden Vergil tech.
Justin Wong for sure has some Wolverine tech up his sleeve.
And this is all just stuff in 2 days that people actually talked about or posted about. Probably 10 times as much stuff that is truly being kept secret.
All I have to say is....

Why is that funny?
It's funny because infinites aren't banned in Marvel and there are characters like Chun Li who can already do it post-TAC. The other funny thing is that VERY FEW people in the US actually play Trish so it's like... what do they even have to fear?
Basically LOL @ banning infinites in a Marvel game which is basically known for infinites. Marvel 3 actually doesn't have on point infinites but it has plenty of TODs which are better than infinites. The infinites that are actually in the game are post-TAC meaning if you guess right they don't get access to it. It also seems hard to set up and some what character specific, it just seems knee jerk to ban it without knowing for sure how practical it is. Even if it's practical it's no where near game breaking especially at the current level of play.
