Well, hello... o_o

Oh! Hello! ;D

Moar, please!

She's doing very well, thank you :)

@Feep: looking good!

@srenity: the bubbles are real but even I thought the same thing first time I saw that picture. I am looking forward to getting our professional photos, hopefully I can post some more then.

@balddemon: my sister is fourteen and that may tip the scales toward creepy.

oh. well then. ummmmmmmm

*walks away*

DAT JAW! You look great, Ironside... although I admit the buzz cut really works for you.I think a haircut like this: http://i.imgur.com/Nxj2j.png would fit perfectly with your head and facial structure. Best of both worlds.

Thanks man! It's funny you show that type of haircut, I was just thinking about that identical cut, the other day no less. Still not quite sure if I could pull it off, I'd definitely have to spend a couple months growing it back out. Perhaps I shall attempt.

Feep I'm curious if you or your doctor ever considered postponing your transplant? Seems recent advancements in hair replacement will improve dramatically in the next few years:

"A few years" is being generously brief for a concept just now demonstrated in the lab to be available for use by the general population.

While I certainty agree, at it's core it's just incorporating stem cells (bio engineered follicles) into to the existing techniques / transplant.

Can't imagine it's too far off towards being replicated in humans.

Either way I think at-large - any procedure like this isn't readily available to the general population simply due to the costs.

You're a good-looking guy, but it looks like something smells bad. Smile!

Thank you! Unfortunately I smile very awkwardly in photos.

How was the recovery? Something I've considered quite a few times.

Recovery was just fine. Procedure was simple, my vision was extremely blurry and it felt like I had hair or something in my eyes. Went home and took a Tylenol pm to go to sleep. Woke up the next morning with 20/15 vision. I had to take 3 different eye drops for the next week and that was that. Though oddly, that night I slept after surgery, I had my first experience with sleep paralysis.

I can't recommend Lasik enough.

My problem is that the beard turns red.
Problem? :P
excuse the ipad shot, looks better with a proper camera. It's red, blonde and brunette btw

Also, looking good Feep!
I made peace with my increasing baldness though, so hopefully I'll start shaving at the end of the year :)

Hi guys!!! new guy here on gaf, please don´t be too hard on me.

OT: I´m not sure if site I used to upload the pic is ok to use, so please let me know if I should remove it. I really wouldn´t like to be banned on my first day lol.

Edit: thanks for your help Izick

Hello, I am new here soo I will introduce myself with a photo. I was playing with a mac for the first time, and it took me about 20 minutes to take the picture, find the picture, upload the picture.

Great minds think alike! I actually got that haircut a few weeks ago (http://i.imgur.com/3vQfs.png <--- this is today, so it doesn't look that short... plus my hair grows really fast).

I think it would look great on you (like I said, your facial structure).
Try it!

Gah, that's really encouraging. How much did it cost if you don't mind? Strange about the sleep paralysis though. Was it only that first night?

I don't think I ever saw a picture in these threads where people are out in a store. Awesome. :D

How many hair follicles were transplanted?

Hey thats really awesome, can you tell us about what treatment youre using.
I had FUT strip harvesting done. 3,477 follicles were taken from the back of my head, follicles that are resistant to a chemical called DHT (primary cause of hair loss in men), and were individually seeded throughout my scalp in a strategic fashion. It's *my* hair, just...moved.

I was aware of stem cell cloning before I went in. I did actually ask about it, but even if politics doesn't get in the way, it would only be ready by 2015 at the EARLIEST, and even then, probably quite expensive. I'm in my mid-twenties now, baby!

Also consider that the only difference between FUT and stem cell cloning are where the follicles are obtained. Yes, I now have a linear scar on the back of my head, but as I never plan to go bald, it's sort of a moot point. Stem cell follicles will ensure I always have hair to cover the scar, right? = D

fuck you feep
; )

All these awesome beards make me incredibly jealous. Someone needs to start Beardless-GAF!

Also Feep, your hair looks great!

Gah, that's really encouraging. How much did it cost if you don't mind? Strange about the sleep paralysis though. Was it only that first night?

Cost me a flat 3600 dollars. I was able to get set up with Care Credit that lets me pay it off in 6 to 24 months with no interest. I attribute the bout of sleep paralysis to abnormal stress since I worked an 8 hour shift the day of surgery and the fact I had my eyes changed permanently. And yes, it was the first night only.

My facial hair doesn't really look that bad except there is 1 or 2 spots where it just doesn't grow and makes it looks stupid if it gets any longer than stubble. My dad has always had a luscious beard and i have always taken after him (we look incredibly alike when he shaves) but that's one thing i didn't get.
