Episode 11

Take us back there!

Dude, you should link to images that are spoilers and tag those links correctly! Everyone else has tagged their thoughts appropriately.

I don't think this proves the split-world theory in a definite way. It only proves that the real E7 world exists out there, but it doesn't really indicate exactly what the nature of this current world is. Could still be a VR simulation! (Lolol)

I think that "Elena" is definitely connected to the original world, or the Scub Coral in some way. Either she was born in the original world, or she has within her something which remembers the old world and Eureka. So to know about that is pretty telling that she's very unique.
Ah yeah, that makes sense.
I will be depressed if it's a VR simulation (oh god please don't let that happen). I am glad though that we now (seem to) have confirmation of that connection, and that it goes beyond just Ao himself.

As for your second point, definitely. If anything now, I want to know
why she's there now in addition to her already mysterious, true self. If eye colors are anything to go by in regards to anime genealogy (because for some reason this happens), maybe something with Anemone and the theEND archetype under the base will come into play. At this point, who knows.
ep 11
I like how
Everyone is so interested in Fleurs love life, even the sloth. Really strange episode, both intentionally and unintentionally
they really are taking a lot of cues from Evangelion with the imagery etc
She can't resist that
Gazelle swag.

ES AO 11

So we finally got definitive proof that AO and E7 are connected. AO is likely some sort of
alternate reality/fake world
. Truth obviously knows what's up, and it'd be interesting to see if
he's from the original world or a resident of the fake world and found out the truth on his own
.

In case there was any other doubt, Kyoda himself confirms that from next episode on, the series enters into the trashing waves. With ep11, they have concluded the episodes needed to expand the scope of the series, and now shit is going to go down. :D

The characters are so silly, that part made me laugh quite a bit as well as

The possession stuff was intriguing, Ao seemed to be slightly affected or it seemed difficult to tell beyond just the moment wiping his eyes and seeing the other two characters. Wish they had let the other three people keep investigating, and for Truth to show up and answer all the questions. I guess he wont even be showing up in space.

Trashing waves, huh?

This is probably a very stupid question but I'm gonna ask it anyways: where did the "split universe" theory come from? It's a genuine question since it feels like I haven't payed enough attention, but now it seems like it definitely could be a valid theory after ep 11.

At the end of the original series,
half of the Coralians left for another universe in order to avoid reaching the limit of questions. Astral Ocean most likely takes place within that universe, since scub coral quite literally seems to fall through worm holes.

It's the very last thing to happen in Eurkea Seven: PoP, so in all honesty it shouldn't be surprising that AO's picking up on that loose end.

I enjoyed episode ten.

I really liked this. I like to imagine that they're deliberately calling back to Renton's similar experience with a severed hand, but the fake, plastic nature of the mannequins implies a disconnect from ZA TRUTH in Ao's situation.

The Truth sucks, though.

He sucks so hard.

I think it'd be less bad if he only spoke from the guises he inhabits instead of assuming that white-haired bishie look.

Ao's world is just the over-world of coral covering the original e7's world, which in turn covers Ao's world. They scab over each other and those intersections upon which the two layers meet are rifts where the scub coral bursts happen. They essentially exist together upon the same plane but on different time phases, sort of like an onion where every layer exists on the same ring.

Generation Bleu digs into their layer to uncover the hidden world, which at this point in time is dead. Eureka's passages into Ao's world was to seed it Ao and Elena, the latter of whom is directly related to Anemone as Ao is to Eureka.

The Truth is the manifestation of the pankrator, or perhaps the fourth spoke in the Trinity, who walks as a test of mankind, sort of like a symbol of gnosis.

e: fuck, double post

Wasnt anemone
a test subject and not important enough to be considered for something like that by the coral?
wouldnt make any sense

Eureka Seven AO 10

tI4aZ.png

dat :DTL power is menacing!

The
disintegration weapon
in use made me laugh. I guess it traumatized Ao or something.

I liked the
Pied Piper
parallel, but I would have enjoyed it better without the connection being explicitly explained as it is rather obvious.

Anyways, this episode was alright, but felt longer than the average for some reason. Secrets are still as easy to kill as ever. Ao gets to hurdle the stress of witnessing
mass death
and hopefully it'll help him stomach the inevitable addition of it in the future while Truth is running about.

Eureka Seven AO 11

If the Truth NTR episode is anything to go by, Eureka Seven AO has taught me that it is more entertaining when on trippy drugs and psychological joy rides than when doing about anything else.

This was a time I didn't need to request explosions to keep me engaged in the show, for an episode focused on Elena no less!

Mind rape sand
and dead eyes is just what this show needed. Alas, I know that it will not stay that way, unfortunately.

ah, I just thought that
they meant 'another universe' as another planet or solar system.
I guess that makes sense.

Episode 10

Interesting episode in a sense, but a bit stupid as well. It gave a bit of context about Generation Blue, having them look a bit like nefarious people, some of which are trying to repent for past sins. Still, this truth about the Secret? Was it supposed to be
that they are out to kill people?
Also, where is Naru?! I want her back already.

Ao's terrorized and warped face looked a bit silly in the close up.

So, is this anime any better then the original? The original is the worst anime Ive ever seen in my life, the only anime that I rated a pathetic 1/10 on MAL.

You have bad taste. :p

The animation is really good. The story was ok in the first half, but then in the 2nd half it became a silly lovestory. I felt uncomfortable as I watched Renton the little brat trying to be the hero of the show, and how the entire cast was disregarded for Eureka, she was the only thing that mattered.

Episode 12

Wow. They really did it. Finally. This episode is THE game changer. It probably won't convince anyone who hasn't actually enjoyed the direction the series decided to take, but for those of us who actually enjoy the ride, it's all paying off now. Anyone who liked the previous episode will LOVE this one. I don't even want to say much more even in spoilers, until others have seen the episode. :)

Also, please start watching spoiler tags much more carefully from now on. Ruining the surprises for others by posting inconsiderate screens or untagged spoilers would be bad! Don't be a bad person!

I'm just going to repost what I said in the main anime thread.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
edit: Well, to maybe add a bit of actual content to this post, the music in this episode was absolutely phenominal.

Too bad the preview seems to imply Eureka's the only one that came along with it, I wanted to see more of the crew.

That would be kind of corny, IMO. Still
IT'S THE GODDAMN GEKKO AND THE REAL NIRVASH. HOLY SHIT!

Judging from the looks of it, it seems like she's pregnant. Her stomach is a bit more round than I expected. Anyone think so?

At first, I thought it was just the clothing, but there is definitely a baby bump.
There's got to be some kind of time travel and universe-hopping going on

Episode 12 is great.

More questions are being raised but the time they spent establishing the characters works wonders for cultivating patience.

Here's a non-spoiler part of E7AO Ep12 I can post:

That illustration in the episode is drawn by Hiroyuki Imaishi! Pretty random.

eh
12 is either a good thing or a bad thing
the fact that its made in part for people that hadn't seen the original is a bit of a worry now
now that they are seemingly connecting the two series, there's the potential to completely ruin the old story with this, as well as conclude it.
either way it should be interesting

It was pretty confirmed since the announcement of the Eureka7 Hybrid game that
the original series is connected with AO.

Shit got serious. I cannot wait for next week's episode.

yea... and pocket full of rainbows was "connected" also
so there is a chance they will ruin all of the old characters for the sake of being different
