3DS Streetpass Experiences

Even if we don't get a new quest in Find Mii, I'm sure there will still be new Puzzle Swap panels added every few months. And even with Puzzle Swap completed, there's still the desire to complete all of the Accomplishments, and even without that it's just fun meeting new Miis via StreetPass, at least to me. Plus there's StreetPass content for other games. Animal Crossing 3DS is going to be a big one for StreetPass once that comes out...All you active Streetpassers make me so jealous
What's the incentive to keep going after you have all hats and puzzle pieces though?
Accomplishments? The fun of playing Find Mii over and over?
I just imagine personally each tag would be a lot less exciting once I knew they would never have a new puzzle piece for me.

Okay, so Plaza Population: 2739. (Tags 4139)
Apparently after far enough back, all of my tagged Miis have been turned into "Met by invitation" Miis. That's...really weird. (And no, I don't have Mario Kart 7. I have NEVER invited a Mii.)
Anyway, 11 months ago, I have: Nick, Russell, Jorge II, galvo, Awells, Funnymonk, metalynkz, Jared, Mark, Tony (red), Dee, Eagle, Charlie, Sarah, traxview, big *ox, Audra, Karmae, Theguyser, Tony (green), {truth};, Nathan, Jay, and Koopa. (First five rows.)
So...I shall report back in a month or so. I know that I'm getting a crapload of tags Tuesday, because there's an E3 streaming event being hosted at the Nintendo World Store, so there'll easily be 60+ people with 3DSes.

Just got the Moffitt Mii via SpotPass. Nice to have another level 5 since I accidentally moved my Reggie to Mii Maker. Still haven't finished Find Mii 2 the first time through yet though.
I've gotten one more actual StreetPass since the first two I got last year.
But hey, at least I got the "AGES since your last StreetPass" accomplishment.

Love streetpass! I go on a walk every week end just to find some new Mii ^^ Really disappointed by tourists around the Louvre (I live near Paris) I only had one streetpass there over several days. At least, it was from Japan.
I usually have 1, 2 streetpass a day when I go at work. I met the same mii for the third time this morning. I suspect someone in my train >_>

Yep. He's identical to Reggie in that respect and he's level 5 for Find Mii purposes.
Might have a higher crit rate than normal too, he pulled two crits in a single room when I usually don't see a single crit most runs. Finally got the over 50 damage in a single turn in Find Mii I award thanks to that (and confirmed it doesn't have to be 50 damage on a single enemy, like I initially thought).

Most satisfying accomplishment so far for me.
I used Orange magic to give my Mii's an additional hit and then used green magic to put a Blood Ghost to sleep.
My next Mii strides up and lands all 4 blows.
'The ghost is still asleep, you can take another turn' (or whatever it says)
Swing. Hit.

Another hit.

Yet another hit.

CRITICAL.
Took a 50hp Blood Ghost out with a single Mii.
I was extremely happy for the rest of the day.
I know I'm sad but it felt good damn it!

I have just learned that the counter for meeting a specific mii stops at 99. Today I should have met a co-worker for the 100th time but instead I get the message that we have met 99 times.
That sucks! We both hoped that we'll get a special accomplishment for meeting 100 times

so yeah, i got 12 or so over in europe - sadly very few in eastern bloc, spent nearly a week in croatia and couldn't get a one. greece either!
now im just really puzzled though...i came back here with 97 people in my plaza, so today i left it on pause with KIU going (i think), came back to a green light but no one in said plaza waiting - but now, i had like 40+ tags sometime 2 days ago. my plaza is filled with people and i have no idea where they came from, can this happen from a delay or something? i didn't change my system time even once the whole time, i have no idea how this came about.
edit no new map spots either - 72 streetpass tags, 148 in my plaza, wtf

Oh man, so I secured tickets to go and see the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses in October (down in Boston). I'm so ready for my 3DS to practically burst into flames with all of the street pass tags I'll hopefully get. Surely a crowd of Zelda fans will also be a crowd loaded with 3DS', right?

As always, special Mii with gold pants, level 5, but he only got one piece par puzzle, with only one pink (for Fire Emblem, the one I picke dup).
Also, a special episode of Game Center CX on eShop, he is playing Kirby on SFAM Wii/VC for 20 minutes.

Collected All the puzzle pieces earlier this month, not as exciting to get a streetpass anymore. :/

I think the Streetpass feature works even with the wireless off though
I went last Thursday to get a drink with some buddies and ended up with 6 tags and a new Italian region in the map, not bad!
StreetPass is still alive and kicking in Madrid, and you're guaranteed getting tags even in places you wouldn't expect, these last 6 came at night from the neighbourhood where most gay bars and clubs are located, go figure.

StreetPass certainly hasn't died! It's getting better and better! And I haven't been to an airport since I got my 3DS, but a friend of mine just did last week, and she got quite a few StreetPasses from it. Maybe you're just having some bad StreetPass luck, lol.
No, StreetPass definitely doesn't work with the wireless off. That's why I really hate it when I hear people say that they turn their wireless off to save battery life. They're cutting off StreetPass at the same time... =/

I think there are too mant AT&T wifi spots. I had to sit in front of another 3DS for 4 minutes because I got a streetpass. I hate you wifi that isn't at home.
I used to get them at large public gatherings, airports, etc. - even driving - fairly regularly, here in the Great Lakes. For the last two or three months it's been completely dead, though. I only got two street passes in LAX, and both were from people who didn't ever use Mii Plaza. I got some crappy Mario levels I already had. Woo hoo.

I'm a Disneyland Annual Passholder and every time I go I'll average about 20-30 streetpasses a day if I stay all day. On the leap day 24 hour event they held this year I was able to get about 80 streetpasses in about the 11 or 12 hours that I was there. I was also in San Francisco a couple weeks ago. I didn't check my passes so I capped at 10 at the Powell BART station area in a couple of hours.

I have quite a few Miis from Anguilla...or should I say Lazyville. >.> Why can't people just set their system to the correct region? Ugh.
Makes sense at home (it actually has a respectable life!) or if you are stuck at a point you can't save and so need to freeze it, but it's crazy to walk around with it on a full charge with wireless off.
Exactly. If you carry around your 3DS with your wireless off, you might as well not be carrying it around at all. =/

So when the XL comes out I can streetpass myself all the time....... Damn.
I always told myself I wouldn't believe it until I saw it, but yesterday I finally got a streetpass in my car. It was an 8 hour round trip, and I got home to find a Plaza and a Mario Land streetpass from the same girl. I would assume it was during the heavier traffic on the M25. Fantastic surprise!

same here, man. and i didnt wanna leave wifi on (it was a long int'l flight) but i did while wandering around, just in case...nothin'.
oh man i can't wait to be able to say this, but then ive still got a few rooms of Find Mii (1, but the 2nd time) to clear, so it's gonna be forever in there.
im kinda pissy about using my coins for pieces these days - i need 85 more to complete (i forget how many are pink, let's say 25), used like 40 coins and didnt get one fucking new piece man
...how would that even work
i said goddamn , going to a con friday and ill be happy if i get 5+
ps so nobody knows about the lourve 3DS's having streetpasses, huh?

I think my only hope for Streetpasses now is events...which I pretty much never go to. I'm going to the Wii U Experience on Friday, so I'll probably get some passes there, but other than that I'd pretty much have to make a trip to the Nintendo Store to get any hits.
I love to compete in the StreetPass challenges in games like Mario Kart 7 and Mario Tennis Open. And I also love to exchange goods in games like Kid Icarus Uprising.
Do you know if in Mario Kart 7 the racing style of the Miis that I streetPassed is influenced by their "owner" racing style?
I guess so, at least in the Time Attack mode (I'm not so sure about the Grand Prix StreetPass).
In Mario Tennis Open I think that the Mii owner playstyle is not the Mii's one.

Don't apologise, what you wrote was fine!
I'm not sure about Mario Tennis, but certainly for Mario Kart any streetpass Mii's you race against do have a particular 'type' which is influenced by how you play.
When racing them in the Grand Prix, their style will conform to whatever 'title' they have on their stats screen. I forget now the different ones, but I think some are Shell Shark, Turbo Starter, etc. This is cool as at first I assumed all Mii's would play the same and just look different but this isn't the case

Went to my state's beach and boardwalk and only got 1 streetpass despite how crowded it was and being there most of the day

No, StreetPass is strictly local communication. Whether you're connected to the Internet or not has no effect on it. You just have to make sure you haven't used the switch to disable -all- wireless communication.
StreetPass Arizona had our biggest event ever outside of a convention yesterday! And just in time for the anniversary of StreetPass Day!
