Getting toward the end here and I've decided that Spider-Man 3's comically bad third act makes people think it's worse than it actually is. Venom is just unreal levels of garbage.
Spider-Man 2 Raindrops Sequence
God this movie is incredible
I really didn't think that any film could botch a villain as badly as the Greg Lantern film botched Hector Hammond, but Lizard in this film comes pretty damn close.
Nothing he did made any fucking sense.
There is no way anyone can point out flaws in Andy's performance.
It's funny how 90% of the SM3 GIFs are from the pirated off-screen version because the movie was THAT amazing that people couldn't wait til it was out to GIF it lol
So what you're saying is that he's turned in cinema's first flawless performance in history?
I just love how the cam footage makes it seem that much better too. Seeing the DVD or Blu Ray gifs of those scenes just don't have the same impact. It's funny how 90% of the SM3 GIFs are from the pirated off-screen version because the movie was THAT amazing that people couldn't wait til it was out to GIF it lol
Basically, which is how I find it easy to appreciate it. It's Raimi being Raimi. Which reminded me of another article in defense of the dance scene.Spidey 3 is a brilliant parody of the first two films.
I've already said too much about how bad the Lizard is, so instead I want to highlight your typo and imagine how awful of a hero Greg Lantern would be.BertramCooper said:I really didn't think that any film could botch a villain as badly as the Greg Lantern film botched Hector Hammond, but Lizard in this film comes pretty damn close.

Stop stating your opinion as a fact. (for the record I think both Tobey and Andrew did well. Tobey's writing was a lot better)THE-Pink-Dagger said:Tobey crying was hilarious, with Garfield, it feels earned, real, much more sincere.

But I guess Amirox is one of those cynical dudes laughing out loud in the most serious scenes, God, I hate those people.

3 gets too much hate. It's not as good as the others, but it's still better than Iron Man 2, Captain America, The Avengers, X-Men 1, and maybe Iron Man 1.

Toby's crying face after Harry's death is, I can confirm, thigh-slappingly hilarious. Roll on Spider-M4n!
Did everyone miss the crazy voices in his head scene when he was in the sewer? It seemed like the serum he injected into himself caused a sort of split personality. Or else why at the endBasically, you have to assume the genetic modification causes some amount of crazy. Kind of like how Norman Osbourne goes from just wanting revenge on the board members to wanting to take over the world for some reason.

times like this I feel blessed for being so behind on film in general. I have a nice handful of Raimi left unwatched.God, it's been far too long since Sam Raimi has blessed us with a film :_(
It's been 37 months since his last film. Thankfully, its only 8 months until his next.
Haha. It was actually intentional.
For one, this isn't explained very well. Especially withDid everyone miss the crazy voices in his head scene when he was in the sewer? It seemed like the serum he injected into himself caused a sort of split personality. Or else why at the endwhen he's "cured" would he suddenly have a change of heart to help Peter from falling off the building?
better than canceled for wildfire riskanyway, if I don't leave now I'll miss the fireworks fun. I hope it's not cancelled due to thunderstorms..

Yeah, but SM1 at least did a better job at establishing Osborn as a character before he was transformed, so when he did become a psychopath, some of his motivations made a bit more sense.
Connors in ASM was basically a blank slate, and then once he was transformed, he was all like, "HUMANS SUCK I MUST EVOLVE THEM!"
Oh God, Willem Defoe's Spidey 3 bloopers are killing me.
"You know what you must do... AVENGE MEEEE!"
3. Andrew Garfield crying over Uncle Ben's body was the most hilarious thing I've seen in a long time. His blubbering, quivering lip looked so funny I seriously had my laughs echoing throughout the movie theater.
5. The Crane LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL... *catches breath* HAHAHAHALOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

It's never about how fantastical something is. It's always about how consistent a movie is with the own rules of the world it created.
JK Simmons' are even better. He just doesn't break character. "You broke my fucking chimes!"
The ending of Drag Me to Hell is basically the best thing ever.
Did someone give that guy the role as a favor to someone else? Good god, he almost out acted Toby in that movie."The blade. That pierced his body. Came from his GILDER."
There was also Punisher: Warzone. Now that we're talking about all those superhero movies, how many modern movies do we have?
Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Punisher, Hulk, The Incredible Hulk, Iron-Man, Iron-Man 2, Captain America, Thor, Hellboy, Hellboy 2, Catwoman, DareDevil, Elektra, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: And the Silver Surfer, X-Men, X-Men 2, X-Men 3, X-Men: Last Stand, Wolverine, The Avengers, Superman Returns, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Green Lantern, Blade, Blade 2, Blade 3 - any more?
And what movies are coming up?
The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Man of Steel, DareDevil (reboot), Hulk (reboot), The Dark Knight Rises, Captain America 2, Thor 2, Avengers 2, Galaxy of the ???, Iron-Man 3 - any more?
And a repeat, The Amazing Spider-Man were spectacular, absolutely loved it, and it might be the first movie ever I go see a second time at the cinema.
Yes. I'm curious why they gave him such a small flat head instead of a pointy one, you know, like an actual lizard.and I just couldn't get past the fact that The Lizard looks like a Goomba from the Super Mario Bros. movie.

Left out the 2 Ghost Rider films.
