Hawkian, that is the most adorable thing I have seen all day. It makes me wish I had a fluffy creature to cuddle. I miss my kitty :(
 
fuck the asylum demon, clear head shot off balcony helps but my dodging skills needs some work, been forever since I played demon's souls.

Of course not, I share your thoughts. The Swedish judge is being a gigantic asshole.

What the transgender's lawyer said sums it up nicely imo
A transgender woman who was the victim of an attempted rape has appealed a Swedish court’s decision to clear the offender of the charges after the court argued the rape was "impossible" because the victim was still biologically a man.

“We will appeal, of course. Sexual violence can happen in many ways, it doesn’t need to be vaginal. The limits of attempted rape were passed when he attacked her,” said the transgender woman’s lawyer Gun Brodd Hedlund to the TT news agency.

When the woman was attacked, the offender allegedly had no idea he was attempting to rape someone who was biological man, a fact the court took into consideration in its ruling.

I looked up the difference between sexual harassment and rape a few months back (please don't ask why) and it stated that any form of penetration counts as rape. That includes french kissing or that's the law over here anyway, don't think it'll be much different in Sweden.
 
Welp, I went shopping to see if I could find some maple extract for that cookie recipe (no luck). While I was out, however, I found some nice, ripe roma tomatoes. I decided I wanted to make some puttanesca for dinner, and I'm currently starting on that. Maybe I'll dig out the old camera and take a pic when I'm done.
 
Ugh, cats. My eyes are watering and my allergies flaring already.

I have a severe dislike of cats. Had one great pet cat in my life, he liked to perch on my shoulders, but every cat my family picked up since was a horrible thing.

You know, I'm actually having a good amount of fun with ME3. Its just.... I know the ending is going to come and screw everything up.

I kind of just want to play it until the last mission and stop. Mass Effect is my favorite new IP of this gen and I don't want it to be sullied :[

It's okay with the band-aid. Still shitty, but okay and not as traumatizing.

Actually, if he's never played it through before, then it won't be that bad at all. It'll actually be enjoyable for him. The problem with us is that we played the shit ending first, which tainted anything that came after it. He hasn't experienced the taint, so he should be fine.
 
I disagree. The core problems aren't addressed. I analogized it to the putting silver plating on a turd and shining it up to a mirror finish.

I do agree, however, that because it is less shockingly bad you will probably invest less time considering just how bad the logic of it all is.

Our mutual acquaintance The Outsider has yet to play it, I asked him what in the world was wrong with him, its free DLC, to which he replied he has no intent of ever picking the game up again.

Xbox in the living room doesn't have Live (yay for horrible launch consoles) but I just might use his computer to play the dlc.

I agree with both points. I was only saying that because there's at least some closure it won't be such a clusterfuck, and he might even enjoy it.
