wtf

GROSS.

While I wouldn't just make peanut butter milk or anything, I have made hot chocolate with peanut butter in it and the peanut butter makes it feel so creamy and amazing in your mouth.

I can pretty much only drink milk with something sweet. Milk on its own is something I don't seek out. Milk with a savory dinner is something I will never comprehend. Bleargh.

Ugggh! I know several people who do this and it makes no sense. It's not even thirst quenching!

Personally, I'd never drink milk on it's own. It's only good in custards and other desserts, for me.

I try not to drink any of the sugary drinks at work but I'll admit I love the iced chai lattes. An iced soy chai with one pump coconut is soooo damn good. One pump of mocha is also pretty nice with it.

Chai tea is one of the few things I have taken one taste of and immediately tossed. Revoltingly bad.

Worst thing to come out of India since ... Well, I don't really know anything about India. But it's bad.

My contribution to the food/drink thing.

I was thinking of using a pic of me toasting a certain member in the drunk thread but it didn't have no shirt or beard.

Rude. Chai tea is divine.

I have some cinnamon chai, and some coconut chai. Good lord.

...I may have some after my shower.

I love to make masala chai flavored baked goods. So far I've made chai cupcakes, chai cookies, and some damn amazing white chocolate chai truffles.

I love any good black tea with some milk and sugar. My favorite thing to do is brew some strong black tea and mix in a healthy dose of caramel sauce and some milk. It's amazing.

I do like a number of green teas but matcha has been my favorite since visiting japan, not to mention matcha ice cream!

I added grilled chicken to it, since I can't have a meal without any meat in it, and I sauteed some onions before mixing it with the other ingredients. It's like all of my favorite ingredients in one pasta.

Awesome.

I'll update my pic later on tonight.

What, do you not like sweet drinks? :o

I don't add anything to my tea unless it is iced tea. Don't like coffee black or sweetened.

As far as other things go, I like sweet drinks. I mostly just drink water, milk, and the occasional soda though.

But with chai it is mostly the spices that really turn me off. I understand there is some variety, but I think what I tried is the standard fare.

*shoves all the tea at you*

I think tea is another one of those acquired tastes. Except for chai tea! If you don't like chai tea you're probably mad. :o

Most people seem to like it, I think. I've met more tea drinkers than I have coffee drinkers. Personally I love both but coffee definitely has the upper edge. Strong black coffee is almost like an aphrodisiac to me.

the former, I adore white chcolate and i've never had anything chai besides tea

For the truffles I just made a basic white chocolate ganache, but I steeped black tea leaves in the heavy whipping cream and added a mixture of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and pepper. I then chilled it, rolled it into truffles and dipped it in milk chocolate for a coating. It was a bit sweet, as white chocolate usually is, but the flavor was intense and amazing.

...sadist

Haha.

Truffles are honestly some of my favorite things to make. They're so easy! I made some one night at work this last winter with the dark chocolate shavings used to top the peppermint mochas. Turned out pretty damn well, especially considering the fact that I was eyeballing all the measurements and didn't have anything but a milk steamer and a paper cup to use while making them.

In Belgium, where they make mayhaps the best truffles to be found in the world, when you walk into a chocolaterie they will basically just start asking you what you'd like to try and handing you free samples. They will pretty much keep handing you free truffles until you feel guilty enough to buy even more truffles.

I love truffles.

Luffles.

This is like the experience at my favorite local gourmet shop. You can try everything for free. One time before a picnic I was looking at the artisanal meats and ended up trying almost all of them before making my decisions, including the iberico ham :)
