I wanted to make another thread but who would win a fight? Batman or Jason Bourne?

Bond.

Tom Bond.

Just got a ticket for 6.30 am on sunday morning at the NY IMAX screen. Couldnt book seat. How early should I go for a good seat?

220 pm July 21st? Lincoln Square?

BTW why is there a 6am show? Who the hell is going to the 6am show? Waste of electricity/AC or whatever it takes to run the theater. I mean I guess you get the best most quiet experience.
Because Batman.

But the word disappointment certainly won’t be featuring when my full review is cleared for posting next Tuesday. Consider the embargo respected (I’m such a good girl) and hang fire for July 19 when the film opens in NZ. It might pay to bear in mind that Nolan’s love of the IMAX camera crossed new frontiers this time around, and he shot an entire half the film using them. Aucklanders, I urge you to see The Dark Knight Rises at IMAX if you can.

Advertising is on full whack where I live.

Buses, billboards and bus shelters for a start. Not just a few either - pretty much all of them.

I'm pretty disappointed that the music from the Nokia and MTV trailer isn't in its fully fledged form in Gotham's Reckoning. There's just a bit at the start and then it dies down.

Wait you actually are going for the 630am show?

Now I know this movie will be big, most all shows will be sold out, and people are willing to line up hours before but I am pretty sure for the 630am show you can just walk in and get any seat you want.

I want to see this movie in Imax, but I might not be able to see it in the first week. Can anybody tell me if Imax theaters only show a film in the first week?

I've never seen a film in Imax before so I don't really know much about it. I tried google for my theater (NYC amc lincoln center), but they don't have any showtimes past the 26th.

Lincoln Square will have it on for at least a month, if not 2 months.

My favorite track so far is track 2
on thin ice
. Its one of the more uneventful tracks on the album but it holds a somber emotional pitch through the whole track without ever dipping into full-on tears territory. Great stuff.

Like I give a shit, the movie will not be less epic because of that.

Lol, pretty much. I've never listened to a score before the film release, but I really don't care any more.

I just need that Hans Zimmer goodness, the film will still be spectacular when the score is playing.

Used download software to rip the files if anyone wants them in mp3.

Haven't listened myself, will wait untill I've seen the movie before I buy the soundtrack.

Thanks again Sunhi, much appreciated!
