I'm not trying to be a douche here, but you wouldn't happen to be colorblind, would you? Splendid job otherwise, mang.
SOLD! And I got to use $5 VIP credits so I basically got it with free shipping, too.
Hahaha, no. Just my little joke. I made this mostly out of the Cool Cruiser set that I deconstructed a while ago.

Shit, really?I remember seeing them comment on each other's MOCs a few times. He had some really amazing stuff...
Like the idea of your minifig thread, Data, but I don't think it'll last long out there. I hope I'm wrong.
I was just going to bring it up in the Lego thread, but I figured it's a topic that might hold interest for people who no longer concern themselves with Lego - just about everyone played with them as a kid, after all. The mini-figs have always been my favorite part of Lego. Building great sets is fun and all, but I feel they would lose something if they didn't have little characters to inhabit and interact with them. So!
Whether it's an old classic, or a recent addition, what's your favorite Lego mini-fig?
For a while, my favorite has always been the evil, ultra-expressive face of the generic criminal fig. This guy:

Look at that motherfucker. Is he a murderer? Burglar? Rapist? Who can say? Anyways, he held the top spot until just recently, when I received a number of "Monster Fighters" themed sets for my birthday. This theme introduced me to the distinguished Dr. Rodney Rathbone:

Bowler hat. Rapier. Pistol. Handsome moustache. Bionic leg. Cocky, Robert Downey Jr. expression. Vampire hunter. This guy's got a fucking life story as long as Atlus Shrugged, and I genuinely want to know what he's all about.
Not crazy about Phoenix, but damn, Bizarro looks cool. Hate that these are SDCC exclusive, I fuggin' live in Pittsburgh...
A set of almost nothing but transparent green could be awesome.Though the movie took some wind out of the franchise, LEGO needs to get going with some Green Lantern sets. The concept of characters that create constructs based on their imagination and willpower has LEGO written all over it! And imagine all the trans-green...
So, is it just me or the series 7 quality is really shitty? I know they've been making them in China, but they got even worse. My RRD has a loose arm and the hands of most of my minifigs are really stiff, some won't even turn unless I use an accessory to apply some torque.
Do you like mini figs or interactive sets?I don't have any space, heck I don't even like Stars Wars that much, but that Sith Fury Inteceptor is mine after watching a video review.

Do it, yo. You'll be underwhelmed at first, but that wing construction is glorious; you're happy that you get to make 2 of them. Also, it's a great looking set thanks to the very swish design of the Interceptor.
EDIT: I'm not a SW fan at all, really, but good design is good design.
Next month. It's already out in Germany though.
Well my 3D printed Bane vests turned up today via shapeways. Not very happy with the results
The material it's printed on is quite grainy looking, it's not too bad to touch but on close inspection (as seen in the photos) it looks like it's made of stone, not sure what I can do do fix it though, if anything.
On the left is the painted one with tamiya primer. In the middle is the same but then coated in sand tan colour paint and on the right is the original raw colour.
Also the neck hole was too small, not a huge deal though as I just drilled it larger and filed it clean.
This is odd...My friend has ordered some Shapeways stuff before and it didn't look like this. Have you tried contacting them about it?
what material did he use? it could make all the difference. And was his item as small as mine?
Eeeewwwwwww...Excavator is sitting at home - got delivered shortly after lunch!
@wetwired - I checked with my friend and he said his Shapeways stuff was so-so. Not perfect, but he doesn't think it was as grainy as yours were. The material was milky white, but he couldn't remember exactly what it was.
^ so jealous of that Venom figure, even though it looks more like black suit Spidey. Chances of me getting one is pretty much zero, right?
[awesome images]

Designed to fit under Jabba's Palace, as rumored. Love the design of the Rancor, and the fact we get another Gamorrean and the Rancor master (Malakili - I had to look that one up)!
