Definitely, there's one outside my room right now.

WANT!!! I'm so jealous right now.

Come to Maryland and I'll try to find some animals you don't have up there to show you! Like muskrats! Do you have muskrats up there?

Oh, and bring maple extract so we can bake those cookies!

It's all good, girl! Like I said, doesn't really phase me anymore. I've got friends so it's all cool. Just funny now :)

Keep working on it.

Suddenly the last page was about going on a trip outside of the states. My trips are coming to the US to visit my family lol.

Living in a Caribbean island is fun :3

No muskrats. :O

I will bring authentic maple syrup~

Oooh, do you have the little maple candies that look like this?

I love them!

Probably somewhere. I am actually not a huge maple fan so I don't go and seek them out. Haha. :)

I don't put it on waffles or pancakes or french toast, but as a flavoring in other desserts it's pretty nice. I just haven't had any of those candies for a few years and I don't think you can easily find the down here.

I'm a huge lover of sweets and candies if it isn't apparent. I always wanna participate in the candy swaps but they always seem to happen when I'm strapped for cash.

If you girls ever come to the UK hit me up! :p

Oh, hell yeah! Though if I raise enough money for more oversea travelling, India will probably be first on the list.

Just for you.

Also, make sure your sound isn't TOO loud for the third voicemail. Haha.

Kitsune, I do love sweets as well, but I'm trying to not eat them very much anymore. :(

I know that feel, bro. I've managed to lose a bit of weight though, and since my knee is finally better I can go back to the gym and work on getting my Chun-li thighs :D

India is awesome, been there many times. Favourite cities to visit in India are Agra, Goa and Kerala. I personally love Maldives, Greece, France mostly Paris, Egypt and India! Next I want to go to Australia and America!

How was the food? That's really my main reason for wanting to travel anywhere, though beautiful scenery and people are also a plus.

My personal dream vacations are India, Singapore, Istanbul, Jerusalem, back to Japan, Scotland, and to do an all over Mediterranean trip. I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting but I think those are at the top of the list.

Where in America did you want to visit?

Philip DeFranco, some youtube jerk. He does topical this week in videos/gossip/news bullshit and then caps it with "You've been Phil'D in." The moment is gone.

Sorry it took so long for me to respond. I've been dealing with some medical stuff, so i haven't been on GAF much.

Wow, I love your stuff. Especially the paintings. :O Will you become my master and teach me?? :O

Sure! Always happy to help out fellow artists however I can! What program do you use, and what is it exactly you want help with?

Thanks guys! I've been told my stuff is unique in a bad way, if not actually bad. It's made me think a lot about my art. I don't know if I'll ever be happy with it, but in a way that's a good thing. I'll never stop trying to improve myself.

I think your stuff is pretty great as it is (totally love the eye monster you just posted, and this one http://s722.photobucket.com/albums/ww225/Lissar/Art Examples/?action=view&current=blueflames.jpg, as well as the costume design in this one http://s722.photobucket.com/albums/ww225/Lissar/Art Examples/?action=view&current=bookgirl.jpg). I don't know why anyone would say it is unique in a bad way, I think it is quite interesting.

I think never being satisfied with one's own art is a pretty common thing. I was literally cringing while looking through my dA gallery. It isn't exactly easy (and it's quite hypocritical for me to say, since I struggle with this too), but its all about learning what your faults are, and working on them without obsessing over them.

I wish I had an artistic bone in my body. The best thing I've ever drawn was during history class in high school. We were learning about WWII, I was doodling. Drew Hitler wielding Mjolnir, still have it somewhere. I must have been depraved levels of bored because I have never drawn something as good in my life. (And this was not by any stretch of the imagination a good drawing, just the best I had personally done.)

The other day I did draw the direwolf sigil from Game of Thrones on a whiteboard. Also bored.

Mad respect for artists! Especially Zombie's stuff O_o that Jester picture was awesome.

Thank you :)

While I think some people have a natural predilection for art, it really is something anyone can learn. It honestly does just take a lot of practice.

I don't think giving Mjolnir to Hitler would be a good idea though =p

I went to the Academy of Art spring display a week ago and it got me really antsy to do the work I saw. I am not good at drawing, I never could figure out proper shading. However this one piece in particular really inspired me.

When I was a wee lad I dreamed of being able to draw sci-fi cityscapes, I think I still have a book for it I've had since I was around 6. Cityscapes and cars, never got good at either. Anyway I know there's still time and with being jobless recent graduate I may just try to take a punt at it again.

Bonus pic because it's pretty.

Those are both gorgeous! I hear you on the cityscapes and cars thing. They are hard, man.

The Regenerator one made me laugh. You stuff is pretty good; I liked the Zant and the Chun-Li ones. You should post your stuff in the Arts & Farts thread. There's a ton of supportive artists in there (myself included). I've been lazy on the art front myself; I recently got a Wacom tablet and have a few unfinished pieces I've been working on.

Otherwise, I've been drawing people on the train with a pen on a Moleskine pad. Would you recommend that I make a Deviant Art page? I have a Concept Forum account but I've never posted.

EDIT: Just posted these in the Arts & Farts thread:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=39689160&postcount=3094

Thanks! If I gain enough confidence, I'll post some stuff in there (I generally feel more comfortable in this thread, and even then it is nerve-racking).

Regarding deviantArt, I think it is ok for organizing your art in one place, but don't expect much in the way of constructive criticism. Conceptart.org is better for that. Just depends on what you are after.

You have some really good stuff there, keep at it. Drawing from life is excellent practice.

Love your art Zombie, very well done. Chun is my favorite (the fact I main her in every fighter with her in it has nothing to do with it >_> )

Thank you! In that case, here's a new(er) Chun Li for ya....

That's how I feel about Pennsylvania. Apologies to anyone living there who loves their state but I've had nothing but painful experiences there.

I do live in PA, and it does indeed suck.

Nice Chun-li!

And, I'm sure PA has some nice parts. The scenery can be quite beautiful in some parts, even if I'm not fond of coniferous vegetation. Unfortunately most of my experience has been in rural towns where there is literally nothing going on. It always seems like all the young people either moved out or killed themselves out of boredom. I just don't really dig small town vibes.

Pittsburgh is the biggest city I've visited in PA and even then the whole city seemed to shut down on game day.

I live too far north for anyone to visit me. :lol

You live further north than Canada?
