Based on experience watching TDK there, being there 3-4 hours early is a must. But it also depends on how many of you are going.

no, no one has ever answered me. the only place that i read/heard that nolan and hardy were going to be there was here on gaf. i consider this forum pretty reliable, but no one has answered me the few times i've asked about it in the last week or so.

honestly, it's not a big deal if they don't show. i'm going to be watching the film with a couple of friends of mine who are both budding filmmakers, so hopefully the after-film discussion with them will make the trip to nyc worth it. if nolan and hardy are there then that will be a nice bonus.

Before the reservation system came in, what I didnt like is two people standing in the line, get into the theatre and "book" the entire row (one at each end). Then their lazy ass troupe walks in 5 minutes before the show.
